What is your mulligan against the different colors? Also when do you know when to take hits/when not to take hits? I often find myself struggling once i reach 4 life knowing when taking hits is okay or not
Super good question , I might have to type this on discord , just cause the amount of text but I’ll do my best Green - looking for self awakeners to help push to 4 by t3, Krillin , Roshi are the goto’s being able to go Roshi t1, Krillin/hit T2, beerus or promo T3, then gohan or promo T4; applies a lot of pressure Yellow - frost frost frost, biggest card you need in yellow , but a mix of 1d whis and botamo to help clear boards early , then beerus for T5 Red - kind of the same as yellow , but promo is super good into red; 25k is harder to KO, botamo can’t be burned through from SCR if they swing into it , Blue - weirdly it’s probably the toughest , I’m looking for as much low to the ground as possible , botamo and promo goku to swing as much as possible , going tall (unless green) into blue doesn’t seem to be as good as going wise , so whatever 2 drops you have in your opening hand will work, including the 1d whis to remove their one drops
@@KaioKris Thanks for that one! I'm currently edited the version a bit. Cut out cantrip roshi for whises, u7 for u6 extra, 2 of the a17s for hits, i'm missing a promo so i went with a third beerus. The only thing i'm unsure about is the kamehameha extra and the 2 drop vegetas. Can you elaborate, why in the current meta vegeta should be over something like hit and why the kamehameha over the 3rd or 4th copy of the u6/7 extra card?
So vegeta right now is getting cut for hit , just to have more U6 targets , vegeta being a 30k into battle cards is great, so that might change from format to format if it seems better
Also the extra card is for sure a 4 of (non u6 one) just so you can always have access to it, the u6/u7 only work on the opposite turn, so you just want to have access to a 15k at any time
Thanks for posting this. I like your list and am going to try it at my own locals this Saturday. Really cool to know I was feeling like the 4 drop draw roshi was kind of out of place, found myself charging it later on if I didn’t get it turn 1. Cut it out completely lol
Agree 100% every time I saw that card in hand I never wanted to play it , I feel the 10k whis is probably the swap for now . I do wish the vados was better , but we can’t have everything I suppose
If you switch to U6 searches are you at all worried about it being even harder to get your double stikers, UI Goku, and beerus SR? Since U7 assemble can search for it
SSB is a better deck right now . More offensive abilities , can shred through green very well. Where we will see the swap is if yellow becomes THEE dominate color . Then we will see if starterku starts to push itself up in ranks , will be doing a U7 list and gameplay very soon
I don’t have a set schedule sadly with being a dad of a new born, BUT my goal is to stream Mondays , Fridays and Sundays for sure! (Unless something comes up) I might throw a stream on during the week if I have time , but multi streaming will be done on both twitch and RUclips:)
We have a vegeta list we’ve worked on with our local team and it’s just meh, blue seems to focus on shooting big numbers but not swarming with a lot of value attackers, you sort of just loop your 1d value cards over and over, I believe blue will receive a bump in set 2 (probably SCR) to help curve out its power
I like it more in SSB and beerus , having no combo power is a hindrance in this deck for me . The 3 energy spot is very tight in starterku , you have beerus , frost , the A17 (which is mainly just for the 10k combo) it’s hard to fit that card in this deck , 25k or 30k with leader effect is not needed for the 3 energy, since the promo goku can do that same thing for 2 energy
You can always swing into it . Most of the time you’ll have 2-4 battle cards available on a turn so your opponent wasting cards from hand is fine , I’ll attempt to use the sr on the digital client and see if I find it more useful, (currently don’t own more than 1 at my house)

Only sealed if the shop does it, a lot of stores did constructed

I am. So I would be using it more for the activate battle , rather than the search, only using the search if I need to find something , IE frost or SC

Thoughts on blue?

@@KaioKris I agree. Blues identity is in value right now, it just needs the cards to break the value train and keep it going through a curve.
