    This Build is amazing, the truck is a beast with the 6” lift. It really is a dream rig!

    If this was available when I bought my van I would have chosen this unit.
    Love the high mount refrigerator.
    Definitely a thumbs up 👍

    I'm a transit van guy but damn does that look badass! Making me rethink Truck camper vs Van. Is it the same as a van build where can bring you any truck to build on? Thanks again Lucy, great detailed tour!

    • @RossmonsterRigs
      @RossmonsterRigs  2 года назад +1

      Thanks! Yes, you can either bring the truck to us (we'll build on 3/4 ton chassis and larger), or you can purchase one of our set models either from us or select dealers come 2023.

    Like the layout.
    About the only thing I'd change is the Lagun table mount......looks like it would be awkward for one person entering and exiting.
    I'd proably put the mount on the wall in-between the seats instead.

    Love the concept and the door location but how is it good engineering to have half the front windows blocked by the mattress and the side window blocked by the table. There seems to be no line of sight windows in a seated position.

    Congratulations!! What a fantastic design!! Questions: - is the roof strong enough to walk on and hold a rack? Are there any warming provisions for the batteries and external water tank for winter camping?

    • @griffithd05
      @griffithd05 2 года назад +1

      Definitely cannot walk around on a roof like that.

    • @pytheus
      @pytheus 2 года назад

      @@griffithd05 ok, no problem. What about freezing conditions for the water tanks and lines?

    • @RossmonsterRigs
      @RossmonsterRigs  2 года назад +3

      Hey there! You actually can walk on this roof in the lowered position. Additionally, you can add a roof rack if you wanted to. That said, we tend to usually reserve rooftop space for solar, AC, and fans, however. As far as freezing temps go, the vehicle has a Rixen hydronic heat and hot water system and is heavily insulated, so it's fully four-season capable. The only portion that won't be four-season capable is the additional exterior fresh water tank.

    • @azn8tive_zr2
      @azn8tive_zr2 Год назад

      @@griffithd05 You can walk on it. A roof rack was an option for this build. While there is certainly a weight limit and you wouldn't want to walk on it while it's articulating, it can hold an adult and/or a couple extra hundred pounds. Contact Rossmonster for weight limits, but it was built for the weight of human to access rooftop utilities or a roof rack with extra supplies. -owner

    For whoever built this rig, for the interior, you guys need to sturdy and get the inspiration from Bimobil (Germany) !!! Because your interior currently looks like a nice prison on the inside !!! Why the windows are so small ??? Making the small interior feels even smaller !!! Check out those big windows from Bimobil and you guys can improve your rig !!! You’re welcome !!!

    Those aren't really MOLLE panels. They are L-Track (logistic track) hole style. Technically MOLLE is just "MOdular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment" which those could be I guess, but the MOLLE stuff is mostly for human-borne things. Either way, good build! And the L-Track holes are great. I have them on my Transit Safari Rack.

    UGLY UGLY UGLY. And when she showed the blackout blind for“stealth” I laughed out loud. As if this monstrosity can pass for anything else but a camper 🤣 VANS rule!

      To be fair, there hasn’t been a van ever that has been stealth. I was getting busted sleeping in them since the 90s;). Add a million Sprinters and we all know what’s up.
