Hi! I am a little confused by the differences between autolayout and constraints. I have watched many tutorials and some people use autolayout almost everywhere instead of using constraints to fix the elements 🤔 I wonder how you would approach this. It would be great if you can please help me with this concept! Thanks
Hi, these are 2 different concepts. auto layouts have constraints too. when you want to use your design for different screen sizes, you have to change your auto layout according to the size one by one, if you didn't set constraints for them. but if you did set constraints for all of the elements in your design the only thing is left to design for another screen is to resize the main frame. I hope this was helpful
Thank you!
You're welcome. Gald to help you✨

Hi, can you also explain about breakpoints in ui design or how to use the breakpoint plugin. Thankful
Sure, we can do that in another playlist, we will have a playlist about cool plugins and tricks in Figma 🌹
Excuse me. Another question: if I want to have a responsive design, do I have to use auto layouts or constraints?
these are 2 different things. you need constraints for responsive design but also you need autolayouts for a clean and consistent design
