A journey from Rayagada to Koraput by train is like a visit to a hill station. The crisp and cool breeze blowing through the windows, clouds shutting from one mountain to another and the train going through the tunnels. These are the experience one would treasure for lifetime.
Undoubtedly it's the most beautiful and scenic Railway line in Odisha & one of the most beautiful Railway line in India.

The 173 Km route between Rayagada and Koraput has 38 Tunnels with the longest being 1599 meters and 80KMs of very deep cuttings with depth upto 60 meters . To cover the 12 stations along the route. Tucked quietly in the tribal heartland, train virtually leapfrog the gorgeous and ravines lumbering over 400 bridges.
In this video we are going to Koraput in Hirakhand Express from Bhubaneswar, so experience the Freshness and nostalgia of train journey with us.

That's my hometown too! I love to visit in the month of June or July. I have also been there by train for once or twice.. So many tunnels and yummy food in rayagada station.We love road journeys so I have seen the best as well... Lovely video prayag and sushree. And lovely narrations as well.
