I love your videos, they've opened up to me a style and furniture type I've never seen in the US. Your light handed approach and attention to detail in restoration I have not seen anywhere else. Some of my ancestors were from 1840s Schaumburg-Lippe. They may have had a different style, but some of them were cabinet makers.
It's good for me to hear that you like the furniture. Here in Germany too, the number of restorers who take their time are becoming fewer and fewer. Modern furniture is not comparable
I think the secret boxes are so cool too. Sometimes you only find them when you disassemble the furniture. Something like that is completely forgotten. Nobody knows that anymore. Therefore better than a safe
What a joy for the eyes to see the ability to restore respecting the past with such patience and love! It is a pleasure to follow you and give these masterpieces a second life with you.

Echt ein riesen unterschied, danke für das tolle Video. Kann man da einfach Acrylfarben verwenden oder ist das was spezielles?
Wir verwenden die Farben die auch zu damaligen Zeiten verwendet wurden. Die muss man allerdings selbst anmischen.
