Im so curious now of a choice between X100Vi and X100V. Both have closely the same specs but the differences in price, only looking for used one, X100Vi around 1400-1600 euro and X100V can find for like 1250-1450 euro. What do you think should I wait for the price droping of X100Vi or just buy X100V, as a main camera for long term. Thanks in avdance!
Truthfully, I was close to getting an X100V (Used) for a common price currently (around $2000 CAD) I however knew there were some improvements like ibis for video & a more stable connection to the app (for image transfer) in the X100Vi which ultimately influenced my decision. The X100V is the camera the broke the internet though, so I would never discredit it. Long term however, I would recommend the X100Vi if using it as an everyday camera, the ibis makes video "usable" now so you have a very powerful camera in such a small form factor!
I got mine a couple weeks ago as well and only took it out this past weekend finally during a Joshua Tree trip with some friends. I LOVE the camera as well. It captured so many beautiful moments. The recipes are so fun to play with as well. Glad the VI brings you so much joy!
Got mine 24 hours ago and noticed a dust on the sensor. Not budging from multiple repeated sensor cleaning. 😢 Very visible on f16 and on white background.
