The more I watch this channel the more I appreciate its content. At first I thought I'd miss the dice rolls, but this really streamlines the game and helps you understand the thought process of the players. Ultimately, dice rolling is exciting, but a lot of time needs to be dedicated to showing it.
In round 3 khorne failed BT. And sylvaneth can do auto BT with vesperal gem, just autocast spell 🙂

Yeah, it's easy to "blah blah blah" the second part of that tactic. Something you charged needs to stay in combat with something or it fails. Makes it a lot harder.

As others have said lead into the maelstrom says you have to remain within 3 inches of an enemy after charging with a battleline and a hero, so if you kill everything you charge, you actually fail that tactic
This is what ends up making this a surprisingly tricky tactic

I love watching you two battle it out and then breaking down the game afterwards. You two make playing the game look do easy but there are so many nuisances to remember!

In this game, I guess Jordan was not as sharp as usual. I think using Alarielles ability in turn 1 could have give you a charge from behind to Skarbrand taking him off. Then missing those battle tactics was the 4 points difference. Not using vesperal gem was huge. Finally I think a more agressive play by Sylvaneth could have paid off in this game
Any insights on the voice change?
The old voice feels like the soul of the channel.

The new voice is an AI generated reading, I think the old ones required someone to read it and then edit

impressive showing from the sylvaneth (other than forgetting about the gem!) - Might try them out in tabletop sim sometime!
Isnt harness the Spirit paths only for a unit Setup with the battletrait meaning teleporting to an enemy 9 Inch away and therefore alarielle wouldve been worse than the kurnoth for T1 battletactic?
The battle tactic can be completed by teleporting as you state, OR by using Strike & Fade!
