i was furious when i heard Brett had a song on Scrubs. I can't stand that show. Stupid mellow drama just highlights the prevalent ineptitude of modern infirmaries, and disgraceful Melrose place atmosphere that dirties so many private clinics of supposed high regard. But now that i have learned that this song is played at Abercrombie & Fitch... well...
I guess i can't blame a guy for getting paid. They're just songs. Good songs that everybody should hear.
Everyone's doing the best they can with the awareness they have, no matter who/where/when. I used to love scrubs but these days I have no interest in that type of setting/mellow-drama-in-your-face I was previously unconscious of but glued to. Good actors, fun jokes but over-all nothing progressive, especially when the show depicts medical malpractice/complacency through a humor lens; I just can'e go along with joking around when the butt end of the joke is a human life and well-being, even if it's fiction (anymore). All ranting aside, Brett's music has been special to me ever since hearing "Sydney" over the sound system at my first job in a grocery store. I hope I'm still listening to Brett (and my friends+you are too) when I'm/we are 99 and older. Cheers to you!
RawGeneration exactly. it's like the big bang theory, it was a soap opera pretending to be a slightly intellectual show. The jokes were juvenile, the plot was non existent, the characters were immature, it was almost like a real hospital... now House is a good medical drama, he's always saving people, spending hours obsessing over cases, doing amphetamines, electrocuting himself on purpose... that's what a hospital SHOULD be. It wasn't just how awfully shallow and demented the show was, it was the fact that women liked it so much that bothered me. A very materialistic, very petty, slightly pregnant woman that i dated, briefly, thought it was a great show. That blows my mind.
@@alanmalcheski8882 Haha spot on, looking back, Scrubs is like a bag of stale popcorn, I loved and watched it on Comedy Central a long time ago but now it just looks like Family Guy to me with all the one-liner jokes. These days all the content I watch is right here on RUclips though lol
