Very soulful version. She does a fantastic rendition. I think it's better than the other versions out there; Hall & Oats, Rippington and other's - including the original by the Spinners.

I saw Joan at a small club. Just went to take Wifey. Was I ever amazed! She had two real good guitarists, and a great drummer! Now I am a big fan too.

I like Joan Osborne, but this is a terribly bland version of a classic tune. She did so much better on What Becomes of The Brokenhearted.

It's called Artistic License.....a millions times better than any if the crap put out today by so called artists that have no class or musical taste .
