Joey and Phoebe friendship was always the biggest mystery on this show. The chemistry between them was undeniable. Even though they clearly were the closest friends they've had, there still was something deeper going on. Sometimes it feels like they're best friends then other time they act like they're in love. There have been moments when i thought that they're having a casual relationship. I believe that Joey and Phoebe have always been attracted to one another then over the years fell in love but kept it suppressed for the sake of their friendship. They were very careful about not letting their attraction show to their friends.
