Friends is an American television sitcom created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman, which aired on NBC from September 22, 1994, to May 6, 2004, lasting ten seasons. With an ensemble cast starring Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer, the show revolves around six friends in their 20s and 30s who live in Manhattan, New York City. Man this one hits hard. Having watched Friends in its original run from when it started until it finished those guys brought us so much joy and laughter. Matthew especially had a way to make us laugh with his sarcastic comments and hilarious quips. It seems he was always fighting his demons and when i saw him in the friends reunion people were saying he seemed a bit off but i honestly never expected this. May he rest in peace.
I am going to have to watch Friends again because we lost this great actor who was my #1 on this show. RIP Matthew and thank you for all the laughs.

This show really had golden moments
Sometimes when I had another bout of depression, I would put this show on. And of course Chandler was always my favourite character and had all the best lines. RIP Matthew Perry: thanks so much for all the memories. I'm genuinely in shock at this.
Chandler was the best friend. The way he took care of Joey was so commendable. And Joey never took it for granted. I loved when Joey paid him the money when he and Monica were behind on bills without a second thought. Their friendship was so wonderful.

He was always my favorite "Friend". Matthew Perry was such a gem of a comedic actor that he truly made the role of Chandler Bing so iconic and lovable. Chandler was definitely the most relatable 'friend' for me. He shaped so much of my humor and personality growing up. I'm still in shock over this devastating news.
Friends was such a huge experience for me and my own set back in the 90s as we were all the same age. Always discussed the week's episode around the office watering hole the next day. The many Chandler sarcastic expressions flying around the office. Its like really losing a close family member. My gut is wrenched. RIP Matthew. Thank you for the laughs you gave our generation. Yesterday 28th October 2023, the King Of Sarcasm, Mathew Perry has left us. He will be missed. A Funny Yet Kind man, he is a Timeless Legend. The hero who taught me and all of us, what Friendship truly meant, he was the Prime foundation of Friends, and now that he is gone, I don't know how F.R.I.E.N.D.S will be complete anymore.
Thank you Matthew Perry for giving us Chandler Bing. This show helped me through many dark times and watching it will never be the same. I just hope he knew just how much i and many others loved him. Rest in Peace 💔

I could comment on a post or somewhere else, but looking at the comments here, a lot of people will feel the same. Growing up friends was and still is my comfort show. I can play it anytime, Any day and feel at peace even if it’s the opposite of what is going on in my life. Just want to say, Mathews performances help make friends and I’m grateful for the laughter I’ve experienced around friends and family watching him on screen. RIP Matt.

When I heard Matthew Perry died, I cried. Chandler was my favourite character. His relationship with his irresponsible father(and the dysfunctional marriage between his parents) had such a huge impact on him. And I can relate to him, because I am dealing with the same thing. At times I have a lot of low self esteem, and I am not myself sometimes. And of course fell ashamed of my dad, just like Chandler. But, luckily I have my mom, and my two best friends( just like Chandler) who encourage me to be myself and to LOVE myself. Rest in peace, Matthew. We all miss you❤

When I was small, I didn't talk much cause I never felt I had anything important to say.
I had started watching friends then and Matthew's Chandler had the biggest impact on my sense of humour.
I remember reacting sarcastically without realising to a family situation and my father had commented first time to my speaking "Ah, it seems like he's been influenced by that show Friends he keeps watching." At that time I realised how much of Chandlers dialogues I liked to try to do the same thing without realising it.
Today now I'm an adult, my father gone and now Chandler as well. I feel broken in this moment. The weight of the phone in my hands feels heavy.
