  • Echo Full Spey Rod Review | The all-new Echo 2019 Full Spey 13' 7wt Rod Review and on the water interview! - OUR NEW FAVORITE SPEY ROD! bit.ly/2PM807o
    At Cooper Landing Fishing Guide, LLC, we use an assortment of Echo Fly Rods for our guiding business and have just started to use more and more Echo spey rods, especially the Echo King for our King Spey Fishing Season (which we love as well!).
    Ever since the Echo Full Spey was announced for 2019, we have had our eye on that spey rod and joined Echo's mailing list to be one of the first to know when the Full Spey was released!
    We are not being paid to say this, but this rod is definitely a beast of a fast-action spey rod and is matched perfectly with the 510 Skagit F.I.S.T. line from Airflo!
    The Echo Full Spey is a very fun rod to cast and it is also fun to fight fish on. This spey rod compared to rods we've previously used, is by-far our favorite!
    Finding the right spey rod can be intimidating. With so many rods and manufacturers out there and so many different actions, lengths, etc.. it can be hard to find the "one" trout spey or steelhead rod for you.
    It is generally best to check out your local fly shop and do your research, but nothing beats casting rods at spey claves and at demo days. If you have a chance to cast this Echo Full Spey rod, you won't be disappointed!
    Cooper Landing Fishing Guide, LLC is located in Cooper Landing Alaska and we are certified Kenai River Fishing Guides on the Kenai and Kasilof Rivers fishing for both trout and salmon.
    Thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy day to check out our RUclips videos! It means so much to us!

    Hey, I'm new to spey but I'm only using an echo 8w full spey or echo TR 8w. I use an 8w echo switch or 7w spey for pinks. I use my TR for steelhead and I find they are bigger fighters than salmon. I'm going to look into the echo King rod. Great video

    Stupid question: Wont the skagit cast scare the salmon in a smaler river? Can you use that rod for a short scandi head? Nice videos :)

    • @CooperLandingFishingGuide
      @CooperLandingFishingGuide  2 года назад +1

      Technically you'd be fishing down and across from you, well away from your casting area so theoretical, you wouldn't scare fish. This rod can definitely handle a scandi head for sure :)
