- Christian meets her again at a yacht party and they fall in love. Later at a nearby motel, something weird happens as they prepare to go to bed together: An intruder breaks in and starts beating Christian who accidentally shoots him with his own gun. A few hours later they find out that the corpse is missing and a series of weird incidents takes place.

My favourite Lenzi film it's so nice to look at, quite fantastic and almost surreal at times. Kendall and Hoffmann make a great 'team' here, Adolfo Lastretti as the hitman had an even bigger part in Lenzi's excellent eurocrime Syndicate Sadists (1975). Also, Morricone's lovely score is well worth it.
Finished watching this tonight, and wow! It was so weird, but so fantastic!
I’ve had the Morricone score live rent free in my head for years, but had never actually gotten round to seeing the film itself, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was really good! The third act worked terrifically!
It’s such an odd film, but it’s great. Unsettling and surprising. Glad it lived up to your hopes after all the years of waiting to see it.
Finally got round to watching this. Was not disappointed! Excellent film.

Thanks Parry. Not to sure what I was expecting getting into this one. But it was way better than I expected. Unlike some other Italian films it was constructed really well. A really great story.
I've had this on Blu-Ray for the longest time. I've still to watch it though.
It’s one of those films that just linger in the collection. Every now and then I’d pull it out look at the cover and go nah, not today. Glad I forced myself to watch it.

Great news, that’s what I love to hear.
First saw this on VHS and never really got it then. Since picked it up on 88 films and have started to warm to it. Although the plot does seem to me to be a bit absurd.
As for Suzy Kendall I would recommend the film 'Assault' if you have not already seen it.

There was the problem; you've always gotta sort the possible Homicidal mania by September 30th. Great work overall; same kinda odd editing as House By The Cemetery just without the screaming kid. Liked it.
Yeah the date thing was weird I can make excuses about why. But I’m just covering their mistake really.
Man v Film I think it's a very clever film and the ending was like you said jaw dropping and as much as the date thing made me laugh it doesn't spoil the film. However can you imagine his 'To do list.

It’s great. I just have no one to play it with. But it’s my favourite film, so of course I was buying it.
Btw since you are with italian movies, i would like to ask about your opinion of Mario Bava as a director, and about "Planet of the Vampires" in particular, i mean, not just the Scott's "Alien" movie, and even more, the whole "Prometheus" saga, came from that movie, what do you think about it?
Ah Planet of the vampires is one Bava I haven’t seen!
@@manvfilm You so should watch it, is such a masterpiece, and besides the scrypt, it has a scene that it has exactly an equal on Scott's "Alien" but from that scene they created the whole "Prometheus" mitology, please watch it.
Oh I want to. I’ve been hoping for a decent Blu-Ray to go in my Bava collection. There is three i need to see, rabid dogs(I own, planet of the vampires and Danger Diabolik
@@manvfilm All works of art, and yeah it's hard to find decent quality, i can't realize why, i mean, Mario is such a classic, and a definitley must to watch if you like motion pictures, anyway, hope you get 'em soon, just can't wait for the reviews.
Sounds like an interesting watch. Must admit the artwork also put me off buying it. May well pick it up in the next 88 sale. Another great review.

In the Italian poster there's a hand coming out of a head, really weird artwork but I guess it fits the schizo feel of some of these characters.
