- The Republican-led House Committee on Homeland Security is holding a hearing Wednesday as the GOP moves forward with an effort to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. While Republicans have criticized the secretary’s handling of migration at the U.S.-Mexico border, Democrats say the impeachment threats are rooted in partisan politics.

How ridiculous. Why would anyone create an “intentional crisis” when that hurts the party in power?
And why wouldn’t the House bring a $70b border funding bill to the floor for a vote? Surely more funding would help.
I’m not hearing any solutions, just fear farming and blame.
Whether it hurts the party in power is an uncertainty, knowing that the party in power views them as 'refugees', 'dreamers', 'cheap labor', future soldiers, and grateful future Democrat voters, which probably accounts for the stalled funding bill, and what it actually provides for, a 'pathway to citizenship' vs 'securing the border' and mass deportation.
Because the money will go to hire more Case workers tp process the illegal immigrants faster, hire more Judges to hear their case for amnesty. In other words. Speed up the process so more can come in quicker.

Just like not ALL Democrats are part of the group that are steering the country in the wrong direction. Some adhere to the ideals espoused by Jefferson and The Constitution. Individuals with strong morals are quite easy to spot regardless of party affiliation in a sea of iniquity such that our Nation's Capital has become.
