So if I have a lot of pain in my hip flexor on my left side pretty much all the time every day, especially when hinging or trying to do any sort of leg squat work etc, i need to do these strengthening exercises?
@@dclaw294 it can also happen from over training(strong but tight), but in this case the hip flexor is just over engaged in a shortened position, it’s tight but still not strong

So according to this idea should I also train my low back(tight from sitting) in a lengthened position

Strengthening your spinal erectors would be beneficial
So tight hip flexors means they’re weak? Just realizing how this makes sense when you think about the body’s need to stabilize.
