What do you find to be so bad about it ? If you set the pad all the way to 1 ,then you can bend to parallel. Isn't that the only thing that matters ? Appreciate any feedback

@@iang8169 All machines are effecting everyone differently as we all have unique dimensions. If u are able to use something and it gives u good targeted response with no ill effects then it is good for you. I've just found these type of leg presses not very effective at all for me. Actually my favourite leg press ie hits quads perfectly is the Cybex 45 plate loaded.

@Matt D I'm just trying to get some specific feedback . I'm 62 and not good at squatting as I round out my back after a couple of reps . I've been following Yates s videos and he says he never squatted in his life but used leg extensions, leg press and hack squats exclusively for quads .
I've been trying titan ssb bar and the elite fts coreblaster belt squat attachment s among other things as an alternative but would like to know what' the issue is with the cybex leg press so I'll know if I have to pursue alternatives .

@@iang8169 Yeah forget squats. I hurt my back years ago and followed Yates advice- leg exits, leg press and belt squats. If that's the only leg press you have access to it's fine. It will still get the job done without hurting your back.
