I replaced 2 screens on iphones 7 and everything good thanks 🙏 for this video I recommend I didn’t have any problems with the home button ! Everything works great 👍🏻
Does the shields need to be screwed in in order for the screen to power on because I cannot get my one iPhone 7 to show any sign of life without the shield never thought it would be the issue but with the shield on my other 7 the screen worked
No the shields shouldn’t need to be in place to power on and test it. I would double check all your connections and make sure they’re seated properly otherwise if that doesn’t help it sounds like a faulty screen and you should ask for a replacement.
+Nick Newborne Yeah usually the main things you have to swap over is the home button touch ID and the back plate and the front camera earpiece speaker proximity sensor assembly.

Awesome great job!! Thanks 👍👊
Hi was wondering does anyone no why my sensors aren’t sticking back down do I need new adhesive
Nice video...very helpfull... just saved me a bunch of money....thanks!!
Awesome thanks I’m glad. Great job on fixing it!! 👍👊
What would I use to put back the camera and proximity sensor plastic brackets back on? Would I need a certain type of glue to hold them in place?
I think usually they can just sit back in there and when the camera and everything is back in place it holds them so they can’t move anywhere
Thank you, that should help me out since I didn’t know if I needed a certain type of glue.
Yeah good luck with it man! 👍

You can try with the shield on too if you like. If the connector is a bit loose in the socket it may make it contact with the pressure downward.
How good is the quality for the replacement screens on ebay?
+jak9777 It seems like they are just fine. From what I've seen.

You did not replace the screen lol.You only replaced the back plate. Omg
+Nick Newborne I removed all the parts off the screen and showed how to reinstall them on your new screen. Maybe you didn't watch the whole video.
Maybe you are right.
