My favorite that you mentioned was excitement. And like you said, build excitement for the company by researching their values beforehand. I think people can tell genuine sincere excitement and value that highly.

You know, every time I’ve gone into a job interview it’s always gone well and I’ve always figured myself for a good interviewee. Luckily I already have a good general volume, so there’s one skill down already. Time to work on the other two and make myself better!

Just had a job interview that was only over the phone, and I'd be very curious to see research on whether these things have as much of an impact there, or if maybe there are other traits that matter more than they normally would, etc.
I agree, a study on that would be brilliant! My personal experience is that it's possible to hear if a person is smiling/happy and if they are using body language - for instance to show enthusiasm. So I'd say that they most likely work in a similar way,.

@@DavidJPPhillips It went fine, David. I talked with most of the recruiters at the fair. Just have to wait to see if any of them will answer me. If I get nothing back I still would be happy. Since I had a chance to network and do in-person interviews. Be healthy and hello from Philadelphia, PA.
