Ed came to my home town for his solo show back in ‘13 or so. My buddies and I went to see it and had a great time. We went to a local watering hole which was completely empty but us. Was a cold night. Ed came walking through the doors and sat at our table and chatted for about an hour. Unbelievably surreal to this day.
THE MOST UNDERATED BAND EVER!!!!! I'm proud to be from a working class town nearby York and their music is taken from the stock I was raised from. GOD BLESS LIVE.... The best ever to do it!
i thing the name of the band doesnt help. its so generic and sometimes its imposible search something. for example try to search a cover of top song from live...its imposible. Or a live concert of live...xD

One of my favorite 90's bands Throwing Copper is one of the best albums ever made.
One of the most powerful front men in Rock still today. I just love Ed's voice and his super energy. I have been a fan since the mid 90s. Rock on man!
Lakinis Juice is out of this world awesome. Secret Samadhi is soo underrated. Every single song on that album is ahead of its time. Just pure genius.

Nice to see still touring with Ed
They used to put up some really average shows, mostly with bad sound mixing. They played in my city (Belo Horizonte/Brazil) in 2001 and they sounded terrible. Concerts after the reunion are way better on every aspect.
Without Ed they're just old dudes who act way too old. It's annoying AF how they act old.

What I would NOT give to spend 2 hours watching this band live again. I was so Blessed to see them in a dance club in Vancouver in the 90's - it was ' a true experience ' for me. Ed transcends ! I really do miss this band. I cried at the concert and I cannot believe I started crying @ Lightning Crashes in this video..Ed is still that powerful / transcendent - I want them to come to Calgary!!! Anyone that did not get to see this band really missed out IMO! Best part of the best years of my life
So sad to read about all the inside drama going on right now. I've been a fan since I was a kid so glad to have seen them a handful of times in the 2000s. They're touring now but just Ed..at least they got this concert on film so we can enjoy. Great setlist too.

I was there! When life was simpler and music was pure
I got into Live after Mental Jewelry (about a year afterwards) and I couldn't get enough! Then, the singles from Throwing Copper started appearing and every one of them were hot! The album came out and I was propelled into the atmosphere! My "couldn't get enough" Live Jukebox was satisfied but for a moment. Then I couldn't get enough of these new songs! It was truly a FANtastic Live experience. I won't even tell you about when the riff to Lakinis Juice was first heard! Holy....a game changer!!

Calling all Live fans: I lost count of how many times I saw these guys when I was in college. I swear, during one of their shows, they sang a song with the lyric, "Everything was fine until we started being ourselves," or something very close to that. I remember thinking what a genius line it was to summarize romantic relationships. Has anyone else ever heard this? Am I thinking of a different band?
The song you're referring to was performed during 1995 shows and is called Cheetah. It's unreleased, however there are live recordings and also a studio recording.

selling the drama is our 1st ever song covered with my band, way back 1994. the other one is "I ALONE" still one of the best LIVE songs, after more tan 20 years.
What a treasure. One of the best live performances I’ve seen. Wish I could have been there.
I was a diehard fan since i heard I Alone for the first time, i went to every concert and made my sister a die hard fan too. Almost all their concerts in the Netherlands we were always standing front row. They knew our faces...They invited us to their aftershows many times, very kind and down to earth kinda people.
We went to Hamburg Germany for a concert in a very small venue. Front row, the stage was really close and low. I think the guys were having some drinks before performing. At one moment Ed called out for the bartenders to bring us in the frontrows Tequilashots! They played their official set for abt. 1,5 hrs.... But they weren't done yet!🙂
After that they wanted to play some more songs for us ( they played 3 hrs in total!)... Ed asked the the public what song they wanted to hear. Me, my sister and 3 friends screamed together for my favorite song Pillar of Davidson...Ed walked over to us and asked "So you wanna hear PoD? We: YES Please!!! So they played my favorite!! 💜💜💜

...Ed forgot the words of the second verse and asked "Does anyone remember the words to this song? Everybody screamed their heads off lol. And again he came over to us asking "Can you please help me out?"... and then he handed his microphone to us!! OMG!!😱 We didn't see that one coming lol!😂😂🤣...My sister grabbed the microphone and after some nervous laughing we sang the verse for Ed. Man... it was so off key !! Hahaha., but it was EPIC!!! The crowd went ballistic! ...When Ed got the microphone back he said "Give it up for them!" and we received a standing ovation (despite we can't sing well lol)
It's still one of the best and epic memories of my LIVE!!!💜💜💜

One of the best alternative bands from my formative years (early nineties).
I started listening to LIVE recently. Im a teen and i dont listen to the hip hop BS. I listen to rock. Chris Cornell is someone who saved me. When I heard that intro it got to me I wish I had gotten into him sooner

Olá amigo, tenho 35 anos recém completados. Escuto o Live desde meus 12 anos por influência de um grande amigo meu 10 anos mais velho. Eu ia pra casa dele com 12 anos e ele com 22 anos, reuniamos uns 4 amigos e ouvíamos muito som legal, um desses sons era o Mental Jewelry, confesso que demorei um pouco pra gostar do Live, alguns meses. Lembro de depois comprarmos o Throwing Copper, em 98 compramos o Secret Samadhi, enfim, Live sempre esteve no meu top 3. Achei uma pena a briga deles e a saída do Ed, mas que bom que eles voltaram, eles se completam muito.
Tenho 40 anos e ouço os Live desde os meus 15 anos
