With Kyo, use "Hyaku-Hachi Shiki • Yamibarai" and then "Nana-Ju-Go Shiki • Kai".
That's the easiest way to do a Drive Cancel in my opinion

K has a really easy one just quarter circle back 3 or 4, and when you see it land just input it again the window isn’t super tight either. They’re not super hard to do tho just remember that you can only cancel on hit
