Hey Aaron, might have something for you to try. Ran a build of Haida with Murray, Inspirations are Sims and Madden. Buffs HP, Reload, Gun Traversal, and could make Haida into a pretty Nasty Gunboat!! Haida may not have the most GOATED AP like the German ALT DDs, but her HE Hits VERY HARD, worth a shot!!!
I have almost the same build but I keep perceptive for being able to chase DDs easily and have a 80%wr with. People who use double concealment build or the torpboat commander just don’t understand how to play those kind of gunboats
I've been playing your exact build from a couple games after I first got the lushun. Quickly figured out you don't necessarily need the greatest concealment if your guns mow down enemy DDs 💪 😅. Just gotta get the commander fully upgraded, such a grind lol
How do you engage that overview camera mode? So the guns track with what you’re shooting at but you can still look around. I swear I heard someone explain it before but can’t remember.
I’m disagree about councilment 😏you always say ( keep your ship as a DD alive as long you can 😏)I still play hidden ( as much possible)& make very good games 👍.any way GG.
I decided the guns were good enough, so i just buffed the torps, and I am running a double conceal build. Sue me 😂 Id also counter against putting range on your ships because sometimes its useful that your detection range doesnt bloom out so far
@@whereruaaron double detection builds are lame AF, but in lushun you have like 1-200 meters until your hydro range with double detection. So you'll have strong guns with mortar, good torps, and good concealment. Very will rounded
That GJ Maerker DD captain should have absolutely wrecked you if he was a competent DD captain. As a German DD player I snack regularly on T7 & T8 DD's including this anemic T8 DD. While I salute your willingness to try it out. Go play a Division mate in a 1v1 trading match against a GJ or Elbing and watch the Lunshun get eaten alive. How do I know? We did this very thing. The Lunshun is no gun boat, and will get soundly slapped by competent German DD captains. We were excited for the Lunshun, but not after putting it against German gunboat DD's like the Elbing line.

Been using Mortar on all dd gunboats if possible... it adds a lot to the damage, i do use double concealment though so im only 200 meters away from an enemy dd to be in the effective range of the sonar, but i will give it a go and see what works best for me when i put sims on
DD has super heal... if your not running sims 🤦♂️🤦♂️ that extra hp is worth double its value 👌

LB or L2? on PS! it has to be on your controller preset I think I use preset 5

Double Concealment build lmao, Khaba with 7km detection has taught to do more with less. Most of my Gun boats sit around 6km or more
I use the neutral commander, my concealmemt is super low, guns reload in 1.4 seconds AND i have 3 superheals

The Z-52 is a legendary tier ship
being targeted by two dds with sub 2 second reload and losing all my health one tick at a time in a bb would be enough WOWsL for me for a long time
