This process is actually such a good idea for someone who procrastinates or gets overwhelmed with their To Do list like me 🫣
Turns it into a fun game and makes it much more exciting than just going down your list. Or staring at the list and panicking and not doing any of it 😂

I just helped my mom do her first moss pole last night! She’s just trying it with a golden pothos. I go visit her once a week and last week she had me help her label all her plants with their Latin names. She is definitely always been a plant lover but she’s falling harder now. I’ve shared your channel with her and a few other RUclipsrs and she’s learning so much. It’s so nice to see her getting into it more. It’s so therapeutic!

Loved the random chores. I might do that. I rarely do repots because i have so many that need it at once i get overwhelmed. This well probably help me feel less overwhelmed. Just pull a chore out the pot when i have a moment.

I seen someone clip their plants to the poles before they pot it. Genius. Now I use the little dragonfly clips to put the plants where I want them so I don’t have to hold it all together while I backfill yeeeeeh ❤

you can definitely prop begonias from a single leaf. just put them in water 🙂 if a climber grows two separate vines like your Gigas you could just cut it so that the top cutting includes the forked vine. that way you’ll have two vines climbing the pole already without having to cut it into several nodes like this ☺️
Begonia leafs are easy to root in my expirience. Just put them in some water untill the roots are growing and as soon as the first new leafs are growing in you can Pot them Up ^^
I let the mature leaf stay conected untill the small plant is grown one itself the growing is faster that way

Love the video and you can 100% propagate begonias by leaf! I had a small Amphioxus that I dropped and it beheaded itself and so I took a few cuttings and legit the only cutting that survived was the tiniest leaf cutting. It barely had a steam and the leaf was legit maybe 2cm long

I enjoyed this video thoroughly. It was fun with the randomness of what chores we were doing. You know you could buy new plants if you got rid of (sold or traded) your doubles of one kind of plant. Then you could get a larger variety of plants.
You can absolutely propagate begonia leaves it just takes longer, but definitely worth a try!

Yes I have done moss all the way Dow. And it did over water my plant.I had to take it a part but lost it .hopefully my stump will grow smart choice to USD soil.

I just really appreciate you for reusing your potting mix or moss or pons, because I don't get why other plant parent's dump them after a repot or whatsoever when you can actually reuse them, right?. So yea it just makes me happy to see you do it hehe

I think with cane begonia the leafs don’t grow a new plant. I’m not entirely sure to be honest, I’ve never found anything on it. I know Rex begonia can grow from the leafs. Definitely keep me posted on how the leaf does! I’m intrigued.

Genuinely wonder if you could root the gigas cuttings using the moss in the pole, like stick the nodes into the moss and keep it moist. I guess you'd risk the growth points coming out inside the pole so maybe you could pin them on? Saves space and keeps it as one plant!

Mine came to me with roots already. I haven’t tried propping them before. I think they do well just right in soil like succulents. Hope you’re able to find another video with tips. I will make one when I do it myself in the future!
