Too many people knock this band for being Korn clones which they're more than that. They are just paying homage to one of their influences and this song is amazing
Agreed. Even CK Smile said himself that you’re an idiot if you don’t think they were going for the Korn sound, it’s their dream to go on tour with them!
CK, Valery, Loic and Greg are so amazing, mere words cannot express their brilliance. KoRn is my favorite band, but Chaoseum is my new favorite and are coming up on first place. They're all so talented and I cannot wait for them to tour the USA. Congratulations to them on getting on the bill with Metallica! OMFG! That's HUGE! They're more than deserving and I wish them all the best.
I am a huge nu metal fan since 1994. I appreciate the korn influence because they are one of the greatest metal bands to ever exist in my opinion. I had a feeling that you guys would love this. Great reaction video as always. 🤘🤘
Glad you guys enjoyed it! For those who haven't yet, check out their album. This is the most 'Korn' song they have. Don't write them off as a knock off version until you at least listen to some other stuff.
Thanks for introducing us Hawk! We've listened to the album a couple times now and enjoy it ourselves. Other people really should check it out to hear what else this band has to offer. We don't understand the hate they're getting over the track.
I ordered the second life album off the band site they sent me a band signed thank you card as well with band pic they are really great to there fan base and an awesome up and coming band
One thing that surprised me with this track, is they recorded it with just a mobile phone with Greg working on the final clip. That to me is what talent looks like. No expensive equipment, just a phone and some crazies to bring light to their awesomeness!
Yeah I saw the same interview and it’s the only korn style song on the album also they are French/Swedish I have to say they done really well and thier unplugged stuff is just as good ck smile is a talented singer but he’s originally a guitarist and very good on guitar
The lyrics to this hit hard when you're going through stuff and finding it hard to keep a smile in public. I recently had someone close push me to my limit and trust is no longer there. Mixed emotions, yet I'd rather be alone. The pain that she has caused is unforgivable.
Mat's face says it all......this song is amazing! It's 2023, almost 2024....never thought I'd hear THIS stuff again! Loved it!! Sounded JUST like Korn but only better and when he does the deep voice it sounded like the guy from Mushroomhead.....win, win. I'm checking this band out further for sure!
People saying Chaoseum is a ripoff of Korn have only seen this one video. The band wanted to make an homage to one of their biggest influences and did so with Smile Again, and IMHO they did a great job. The rest of their catalogue is great, I'd definitely recommend giving them a listen if you like this type of rock.
Honestly the first time i heard this song, it was on an playlist so i wasnt watching the actual video, but i thought, did korn just reléase a new song ? Even if you type korn on the serach bar this guys pop up. Loved the reaction vid guys, good job ¡¡
Great song! If anyone has done their research on this band, specifically the interview with the singer, one of their biggest inspirations is KORN, the sound of this song was on purpose to pay homage to one of their inspirations. ROCK ON! 🤘
Soon as the vocalist started singing, and I saw Mats reaction, I knew he heard Korn, cuz that was my reaction too, sounds so much like Korn it's crazy, also, there's American Head Charge vibes in that tune too, as a die hard Nu-Metal fan, this is my song of the year so far, and every Nu Metal song that gets played, Chels loves, so, I think Nu Metal is Chels' jam for sure, and Mat the Adema comment is also spot on aswell lol
It amazes me that CK sounds almost exactly like Johnathan Davis. Great voice and i'm glad new bands are stepping up and keeping the Nu Metal Genre alive. Keep it up guys, great band and great songs, I love every song they have made so far.
New fan here guys great review of these guys the grief they have got over the Korn sound is incredible just enjoy the tunes they're incredible. Check out Arson City out of Omaha here there bad ass too
In fact, it was a small Swiss group that recorded this while in lockdown with a cell phone. Yes they take inspiration from Korn for this song, but it was just an amateur production with friends to pass the time in a creative way, ... so they have talents, originally the singer was actually not a singer but only a guitarist. Suddenly it became a tribute to the unexpected success.
I'm digging it. I feel like they need a diff name/or marketing person. They sound like korn, which isn't a bad thing. I feel like the drums are def diff... but this is just 1 song. Just make sure it's "you"...also lyrically i need to hear more to figure out
You guys should check out a killers confession the singer is originally from mushroomhead Waylon Travis their self titled song has Brian head Welch And then they did a song with chad grey from hell yeah / mud aunt called tell your soul
I recommend listening to a band called Flymore and the song Asylum they sound like Korn they only actually made 1 album and an EP but I would say in my opinion every song is decent and definitely worth checking out , ive been listening to these for years
I like Chaoseum the Lead singer sounds like JD from KORN which isn't a bad thing to me at least they are coming up with their own music. They don't even have a bass player
It's... KoRn Adema ORGY Alice in Chains (vocal vibes) The lead singer CK Smiles said It was heavily influenced by KoRn and if people thinks that it sounds like KoRn then he did a good fucking job he said...
For me theyre mixture of Dope and KoRn which is an awesome thing, but they also have their own style too and most of their songs are more metalcore-ish than nu metal but still it's a weird mix and i dig it :D
Remember nu metal came late 90s and Korn came early 90s. Korn never changed. Bands at the end of the 90s were younger guys listening to that early 90 metal. Zombie Pantera C.O.C. Stabbing Westward
Too many people knock this band for being Korn clones which they're more than that. They are just paying homage to one of their influences and this song is amazing
Word people knocked greta van fleet for the same reason, but they found their groove. These guys will do the same guaranteed
This song is dope
Agreed. Even CK Smile said himself that you’re an idiot if you don’t think they were going for the Korn sound, it’s their dream to go on tour with them!
Tired of the F 🤾🏼♀️😀😂🤪🐓🎅🏻🍷 Korn ..Its Chaoseum 👌👌
It’s one thing to sound somewhat like another band , this was 109 percent korn , did nothing to be original at all .
"Hell Has No Way Out" is another killer track from this album. Enjoy!
I can't wait for a video for that one!! 🤘🔥🤘
Love this reaction! Been waiting for you guys to react to this. Love this track
Chaoseum captured the Korn untouchables sound. I'm glad you like them!
From this album this is the only song that sounds like it's had a Korn influence. Great introduction to Chaoseum. Also you have a new subscriber.
I am a huge nu metal fan since 1994. I appreciate the korn influence because they are one of the greatest metal bands to ever exist in my opinion. I had a feeling that you guys would love this. Great reaction video as always. 🤘🤘

i absolutely loved this song, caught me by surprise. Their other stuff is amazing as well
New metal is back with a vengeance long live metal🤘
God, i feel this song. There are so many memories
Chaoseum touched me hear all of there albums kick ass band
He sounds like the least single from corn. Jonathan Davis. The funny part is this gotta sing. He's french
It amazes me that CK sounds almost exactly like Johnathan Davis. Great voice and i'm glad new bands are stepping up and keeping the Nu Metal Genre alive. Keep it up guys, great band and great songs, I love every song they have made so far.

Beautiful ❤❤❤ art put in there words
If you had Korn a Manson had a baby you get this!
I heard this song was intentional paying homage to their one of their favourite influences 😁
Korn aside this song punches you in the mouth immediately . Great reaction
I hate when people judge a band just by one song, especially as singles tend to be the most radio friendly songs of an album most of the time.
Freaking Amazing Song!
Awesome!
They are basically telling and showing the origin of the Joker and Harley Quinn
Tá precisando mesmo surgirem novas bandas , e não estou nem aí se falam que são cópia do korn, a música e muito boa 👍🏻
I'm digging it. I feel like they need a diff name/or marketing person. They sound like korn, which isn't a bad thing. I feel like the drums are def diff... but this is just 1 song. Just make sure it's "you"...also lyrically i need to hear more to figure out
Major Korn vibe!
The singer has a killer voice
You should check out the rest of their videos Chaoseum doesn't have a bad song
Korn and Adema 🥹 and now these guys! Amazing!
You guys gotta react to into my split or stick under my skin by them!! Amazing songs and amazing band
or Lilith with their first singer Lola Van Lo
You guys should check out a killers confession the singer is originally from mushroomhead Waylon Travis their self titled song has Brian head Welch
And then they did a song with chad grey from hell yeah / mud aunt called tell your soul
I recommend listening to a band called Flymore and the song Asylum they sound like Korn they only actually made 1 album and an EP but I would say in my opinion every song is decent and definitely worth checking out , ive been listening to these for years
Korn vibes hard but his voice is also brilliant.
This was a good song. Yes it's kornish and I liked it. Anyone else notice the joker corrupting the Dr turning her to harly quinn
I hear Scott weiland a lot in the chorus for sure!
The more I listen to these guys I hear Korn a *LOT* but when he’s not screaming, I hear P.O.D as well. Sounds dope as fuck either way!
They did this song as a tribute. Be like saying Mark Chavez sounds like Jonathan davis
Just close your eyes and TURN it up
Damn, Korn off the cob...Hell yea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't care, i love it!
Nice reaction to a total underrated band at the moment!
U should check out their new song "Unreal"!
It sounds like korn and marlin Manson it's weird but I like it
Check out first step to hell.....it's one of there better groves
do they not have a bass player don't appear to
Don't forget Manson and Adema I said that way back like 8 months ago or so Disturbed
I like Chaoseum the Lead singer sounds like JD from KORN which isn't a bad thing to me at least they are coming up with their own music. They don't even have a bass player
100 out 100
You can say they sound like Korn, but they did it without a bassit
Korn freak on a leash sounds the same
The singer sounds more like Scott Wieland in the chorus.
It's...
KoRn
Adema
ORGY
Alice in Chains (vocal vibes)
The lead singer CK Smiles said It was heavily influenced by KoRn and if people thinks that it sounds like KoRn then he did a good fucking job he said...
Children of the KORN…
Lmao
Okay good with hospital me Peggy guardado
To the lady who doesn’t know KoRn, at least their earlier stuff anyway. Listen to Blind and you will hear KoRn here 🙂
For me theyre mixture of Dope and KoRn which is an awesome thing, but they also have their own style too and most of their songs are more metalcore-ish than nu metal but still it's a weird mix and i dig it :D
Guys check flymore def that band is korn pt2 for sure
I love this band 😁Next time maybe a children of bodom or ensiferum reaction 🙂? if you want a awesome voice check out amorphis
Ck smile said this is the only korn influenced song on the album
Korn meets Avatar.....great band !!!
I love this song, but tell me you guys hear Scott Wieland in the chorus too!
Enough of the Korn…ITS Chaoseum du 😁😁🍷
Why is Korn not sueing this band?
Based on what legality?
I never knew how to pronounce the band name lol
Remember nu metal came late 90s and Korn came early 90s. Korn never changed. Bands at the end of the 90s were younger guys listening to that early 90 metal. Zombie Pantera C.O.C. Stabbing Westward
Didn't you guys see the joker and Harley Quinn story in the video come on
You should react to their new song Unreal
Tomorrow!
@@MatandChelsReact their new single My Wonderland hits different than the last two you reacted to.
What avenged Sevenfold is to Metallica this is to Korn.
And if you look it up the band probably older than corn female first did not work so well now with new singer.
I would say a x between Static x and Korn
