As a huge Korn fan this group brought me back to my teenage years when Korn first came out. I'm 42 now and my jaw dropped when I heard them first. Definitely one of my fastest favorite bands!
I agree with you. I'm 34 but it brought me back to my teen years and I am LOVING this band. Korn is the shit and this band is equally as good. I am so happy Nu Metal is coming back with vengeance lol
If anyone has done their research on this band, specifically the interview with the singer, one of their inspirations is KORN, this song was on purpose to pay homage to one of their inspirations. ROCK ON! 🤘
If you'd like to check out another recent song from Chaoseum, I suggest you listen to 'Stick Under My Skin'. It's a great song also and shows that Chaoseum do actually have their own style with musical influences from Trivium, Killswitch Engage and Bullet For My Valentine.
Holy sh*t. Influences from BFMV and sound just like KoRn, man I'm gassed! Both those bands helped my through my childhood alot, amazing to see and amazing to hear some new music coming out in the Nu-metal genre. I hope it comes back to how it was in the 90s/00s and stays for good.
How can it be a tribute when they are ripping the band off completely it's one thing to have influence but to completely sound exactly like the band is disrespectful

In fact, it was a small Swiss group that recorded this while in lockdown with a cell phone. Yes they take inspiration from Korn for this song, but it was just an amateur production with friends to pass the time in a creative way, ... so they have talents, originally the singer was actually not a singer but only a guitarist. Suddenly it became a tribute to the unexpected success.
Yeah I think in the same way! Actually they are pretty good. Maybe people just haven't listened to their other songs, they are different. People judge them too quickly.

When i first heard this Korn came to mind. They are Swiss band that are formed from a Symphonic Metal band "Elferya" Check out some of their other stuff. They have toured with Soulfly as well as with Tarja former Nightwish singer. They do have their own style check them out
Korn is very specific and so far many tried to copy them and they failed. I mean many people on RUclips managed to replicate one person and his instrument part in the band but nobody managed to do a whole song so far. These guys took all the core Korn-ness and created a whole new song with it while doing a hommage to the old Korn we are all used to and most of us would like to have back. Including me.
As a huge Korn fan… I totally love this band!!! I discovered it a couple of weeks ago and cant stop listening to them. I only wonder why they dont play with a “visible” bass player? Im up to it if they need one hahaha
