Another argument against the whole "Amazon is saturated" thing is the fact that trends change. Popular styles go out of style and new things open up all the time! Can you imagine buying a colouring book from the 80s now?
I've started publishing in the coloring book niche, and the main thing I notice when doing research is poor AI covers/interiors and many publishers are missing the mark when trying to create in the bold and easy niche. The top publishers like Coco, Vivi, etc have nice illustrations even if a lot of their books are repetitive they still out compete poor effort AI. Then the ones that are labeling their books as bold and easy, the illustrations are either very basic (not interesting), or they have way too much shading or intricacy to be considered bold & easy because they are using Midjourney or Dalle, but not editing their images. RUclips has made it to where people thing they can just use AI images as is and be successful. I'm shocked some of these books get sales, but per their BSR and research tools, people still buy even if the cover and example pages looks like poor AI.
Fantastic results on the competitvie coloring book Chris, it shows that it is still possible even in those competitve niches! Happy new year pal!
@@selfpublishingempire HNY! Yes, I think the opportunity is better than ever
