You made that look easier than it actually is, I don't think people realise how much skill goes into it. Good job...

Wow 🤩 I am so grateful for this RUclips Chanel. I just graduated school and my father owns a formwork company in Sydney. This will be a great learning curve for me to broaden my skills much quicker. Just earned a sub buddy and I hope you continue to upload more Formwork skills. Cheers

thanks brother! I'll be uploading quite a few soon, just bought a new camera rhis week and upgrading the pc next week for my editing as I havn't been able to finish any vids off due to pc locking up constantly. PC problems take all the fun out of it!

Thats a good idea for that type of 1 off stairs, Im not in formwork anymore butwe used to cut the whole stringer out of ply wood and nail the risers to the stringer then the stringer to the wall or side shutter.
But they were typically multiple use.
I would definitely change to this method for this type of scenario

Yes I like your method but as you say it better suits repeatability. I pretty much never get stairs with the same rise and run.

Were these stairs wet finished or stripped the next day? Im guessing they wouldnt be able to be finished without the stringer being taken down, to get one side of the riser out. For a same day wet finish would you just cut the risers with a 17mm gap on either side?

Yeah but no one wet finishes here. I don’t really like the look of wet finished, yes it’s sealed up better but you don’t get crisp corners. I know it is possible and guys can do it but generally you guys bullnose it all and it’s never perfectly straight.

Do you remove the forms too ? Can you grab a shot of the finished product ? Great watching a pro
