  • Stealth Arms #Platypus meets the #Holosun 407k green dot.
In this RUclips video, the creator demonstrates the process of attaching a HoloSun optic sight to the Stealth Arms Platypus 1911. The creator also mentions that they will be performing a partial field strip, removing the slide from the frame but not the recoil spring or barrel. They show the tools provided and remove the cap by pushing the firing pin in and moving the hammer stop to access a screw. The HoloSun optic sight with a green dot is shown, along with the screws provided. They mention using a torque wrench to tighten the screws to the recommended 15 inch lbs. The creator also showcases a rear sight that can be co-witnessed with the optic. They mention using Loctite on the screws and demonstrate the process of tightening them. The video concludes with the creator showing the gun with the optic sight attached, adjusting the dot position, and expressing their satisfaction with the final result.

Also just some creative criticism, most the video is painfully dark

I realized it when it was uploaded, it was my second time using the software, I made another upload of the exact same video just brighter and it was not monetized, I will share the link with you if it helps. ruclips.net/video/PtyFFC-C_Qk/видео.htmlsi=SDnknf2NEgzw-kv5

I dig the blue man. Planning to do a miami vice themed platypus whenever they add a more aggressive grip and integrated compensator.

I think a Miami Vice theme would like nice. I like Miami themed Caniks. I saw a video recently that they are about to release a new grip

Stealth Arms instructional video shows keeping the slide on but in full slide lock. I installed my optic following that method without full slide removal.

Yea I saw their video, I just have grown accustomed to removing the slide when installing optics, just a personal preference.

I find it amazing that Stealth Arms must be paying these RUclipsrs to give reviews. My Platypus was a total POS. and there customer service is doesnt exist

I can assure you that I am not getting paid by any company at all. I can only speak to my experiences, and those that I know personally that own a Platypus. I have never had any issue and every time I shot mine is on video and the only issue I have ever had is it does not lock back after the final round every time. I also have never had a reason to contact their customer service. I am not saying you did not have issues but if you make videos you should show the issues because I have not seen a negative review on the Platypus. Also, its not a good practice to assume someone is being paid because they did not have the experience you had. Any machine can have an issue but I would like to know what makes yours a POS because is my first time hearing that.
