    Who the hell leaves their cup in for more than 7 days?! Ya nastyyyy. It even says so on the box; recommended change every 4-6 hours. Glad you follow this rule girly!

      if you’re only leaving it in for that short, you might as well stick to pads and tampons. and changing it every 4-6 is f feasible for many ppl cause i wear menstrual cup so that i don’t have to change in public among other reasons

    Interestingly! I found on net that in the history of mensturation there has been only 2 reported cases of TSS due to menstrual cups. And also due to tampons are very very rare. 😃 Also men and children get TSS not only women.

    I have a question... Why I feel little pressure down my belly after putting a cup???

    • @pixiecup
      @pixiecup  4 года назад +1

      You most likely have a cup size that is too big for you. I would recommend getting the next size down.

      It could also be that your cup is too firm foryou, a softer silicone may be a better fit

    I just used one for the first time, today and after putting it on i felt ery nauseous and i passed out for a few minutes and i immediately removed it when i gain some consciousness... I was sweating also my kegs were shivering, my lips were pale .. after 5 minutes i vomited also. Is this because of tss or by using menustral cup 😣😣😣

      We are so sorry that this has happened! We would recommend an ER trip or Doctors visit ASAP, it could be that you are allergic to the material of the cup.

    I was thinking what if someone invents an underwear which has something like silicon cup in it but where the blood get collected outside the vagina but which doesn't necessarily needs to be put inside the vagina. All made of same surgical silicone. Just an idea🤪. May be i am thinking too impractical.

    • @pixiecup
      @pixiecup  3 года назад +1

      It is very unlikely, but we recommend removing it every 12 hours.

      I left my menstrual cup today for 15 hours and close to 40 mins when I woke up. I was so exhausted I forgot to wake up earlier, and woke up with a sudden sore throat and chest a little chest heaviness/wheezing when I had none yesterday. I'm going to try to get checked tomorrow, but hopefully it's not first symptoms of tss 😳

      Hi, so it sounds like the cup may be too big for you and even though you have a small size, not all brands have a universal small size. You may try looking at the dimensions and see if you can find a smaller cup. Our smallest size cup is the Luxe Small if you want to check it out.
      Another thing you could try is inserting it a little lower so that it is not putting as much pressure on your bladder.
      Wish you the best of luck!

      Sulagna Mukherjee try a softer silicone cup! Like maybe the saalt soft in size small then the softer silicone won’t push on your bladder!
