Thank you for the video and showing the two systems together. I was concerned the rack system and drawers would not work in the same vehicle simultaneously. This video shows that it will.
Love the setup and thank you for showing the two systems together, but I have one question what’s the distance from the top of the decked system to the bottom of the gear pod?
Under the system isn't really a concern for us. Most we ever found under there are leaves, dust and the such. As far as the drawers go, mud shouldn't make its way in there. Only the finest particulates of dust blow in there. Pretty much a non issue.
From the Leitner website it looks like the supports for the back bolt into the bottom of the truck bed, but you have them bolted to the side. Did you have to modify the supports on the rack to get the Decked drawer system to fit underneath?
So I have the decked system and I want this rack...however I also have a Roll N Lock Tonneau cover currently. Can this rack be used in combination with a cover or will I need to remove it?
If i was to put that decked system in my truck, I'd have a hard time getting in the bed sine it is on 35s with a 6" lift. I love the system though may have to buy a short step ladder.
I presently have the decked drawer system on my nissan frontier longbed, I would like to take the same decked drawer system and move it over to a 6 foot 2021 tacoma limited, Is that possible your is it a completely different system>
The custom swing away tailgate on the 16tundra seems more practical than the drop down to access the drawers. I would seriously concider a ram with multi purpose 60/40 split tailgate for that same reason.
It seems like every review on any product no matter what industry involves the phrase, "your good to go". Anyone else get tired of hearing it? I think maybe it's time that "Good to go", does exactly that. Then again, maybe I just watch too many reviews and start to notice patterns, LOL.
RoamR question on the Leitner Cargo System. Do I lose my bed rails by installing this system? I noticed that the rail towards the rear of the cabin is still there but I don’t see the rails on the sides of the bed...is this true?
@@captaina4458 Yes, you loose the rails on port and starboard side, but the nature of the Leitner system make them obsolete as you now you have a MUCH stronger rail with the system
Note: That Truck is carrying a static weight of 600 pounds. Need to think about mpg/ how long your fuel will get you/ RotopaX fuel pods, handling with the extra weight lastly handling with that extra weight off road. That 600 lbs not including your gear that you will add to it. Realistically one may add about 200-300 extra lbs. So now your at or near 1000 lbs. That Tundra already gets 13-17mpg. Now add 1k of weight. 10/11mpg? Some food for thought.
Thanks for the note. It gets 14mpg with the supercharger, without the supercharger there was not much noticeable difference with and without the systems mpg-wise. The 5.7 is thirsty but also has loads of power. The biggest effect on mpg was the lift and tires. Fully equipped it got about 10mpg before the supercharger. Also with the 38gallon tank it goes far. The rotopax are really for a safety net.

Like peas and carrots my friend:-)
ACS and Decked are on my list for my Ram. Love the setup.
Def high on our list for any/all trucks we build. Been extraordinarily happy with this combo. It's a WIN for sure
I live by the guy who drives the Quicksand Tundra. See his truck with the roto packs all the time in San Clemente
What is the light bar on the tail of the tundra? Do they make it for the Tacoma?
I’ve been really actively looking into this system. Looks awesome.
Only gripe I have is the rails should be blacked out. 👍
Matthew Shank they are now
Troy Tertany yay!!!
Sold.
Does the led lights wiring harness bind at all when you slide up or down the rack cross member? How does that install look?
What’s on the tailgate of the tan tundra? Looks like some sort of led light built into the top plastic piece??
Yes, led brake lights from Anzo
Thank you for all the great info

InstaBlaster...
When you take it off road do you have a hard time keeping mud and dirt from getting in or under the decked storage?
Under the system isn't really a concern for us. Most we ever found under there are leaves, dust and the such.
As far as the drawers go, mud shouldn't make its way in there. Only the finest particulates of dust blow in there. Pretty much a non issue.
I would imagine dust would be the hardest to keep out.
From the Leitner website it looks like the supports for the back bolt into the bottom of the truck bed, but you have them bolted to the side. Did you have to modify the supports on the rack to get the Decked drawer system to fit underneath?
No modifications. Attachment point varies by application
What brand is that jumper starter?
It's a Noco Genius GB40 or 70 Boost
How you do without making your tundra rear end sag?
So I have the decked system and I want this rack...however I also have a Roll N Lock Tonneau cover currently. Can this rack be used in combination with a cover or will I need to remove it?
From the hip, i'm pretty confident you'll have to remove it

Hey Bill, I’d recommend giving the folks at @decked a call. They are super helpful and will be able to get an answer for you.
can you fit an air mattress over the decked drawer (specifically in a 2019 short bed sr5 Tacoma)? Also do the maxxtrax and gas cans lock?
No prob at all
Depending of size of matress, yes. Maxtraz and cans do lock
Now the question is what about the power outlet in the bed of the truck. ?
No OEM outlet in the Tundra :-)
The custom swing away tailgate on the 16tundra seems more practical than the drop down to access the drawers. I would seriously concider a ram with multi purpose 60/40 split tailgate for that same reason.
Can you install the Decked system after the ACS is in place?
Dont see why not
What are those red-trimmed lights on the sand color truck?
I'd like to see how they're wired up and can still slide nicely
How do I enclose the back? Would it be easy to attach a canvas tarp on the inside all way around?
Is possible if have some crafty skillz
What tail gate is on the black truck?
Wilco Tire Gate
What is the weight that can be loaded on that rack?
More then most will need. Check it out on www.leitnerdesigns.com/
Whats the roof cab rack on the tundra?
Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform
How was delivery of the decked system?
Easy to quite easy. Came boxed on skids and was wheeled into a residential garage with a pallet jack
What tailgate spoiler do you have?
Anzo lights
Exactly what I wanted
Can you put Rhino Rack Pioneer Elevation on the Leitner?
Don't see any reason why not
yup
Can you fit a set of golf clubs in one of those drawers? Not a big ole cart bag but a stand bag?
Johnny Best no golf sucks
i'm doing all that stuff...except helping a friend move (probably why i don't have any)
This video made me spend 6k - beware!
2k for the decked and 3k-4k on the acs
Haha!
If only they were a tad more affordable.
But does it have a toilet paper holder? 2:35....He said DUTIES...hehe.....aaahh it's Saturday and I'm feeling immature :D
chad liford Someone has some time on his hands, lol.

What light bars are those?

Boxes inside of a box.
Toyota 👎🏻 If you’re selling to Americans, then show applications for OUR trucks: Ram, Chevy, & Ford. No more brother wars.
Wilco

Never fun when everything else in the video is quieter than the guy speaking. Beware for headphone listeners
I bet I could break it.
Looks like a toy to me
