Just picked one up Yesterday July 1st, 2022... NO hockey puck on my seat and doesn't have 2 holes that the dealership covered. They must have been listening, Phil! Also, the bike
is not harsh, and I'm quite happy with the ride, I guess the question is: Where did you have the back preload set? Not much time on the bike, but so far so good. No, it does not have a Combine braking system (CBS), each brake handle is independent of a master cylinder. Still made in Taiwan, but at a different factory than other Genuine scooters... You can tell which ones come from the main PGO factory by the 3-year warranty and the other factory only has a 2-year warranty... Funny I guess Genuine has more faith and QC from one than the other.

The Rattler 110 was one of the most fun scooters ever made. Can’t beat the sound and smell of a two stroke.

The other Genuine models are made in Taiwan, is this made in China or Taiwan? Taiwan products tend to be better made than the cheaper Chinese products.

I've read that these have combined braking system (CBS), which can feel grabby if you aren't used to it. I owned a Burgman w/CBS & it took a while to stop locking it up. I also had a Buddy 170 w/a rear drum that was much nicer to ride.

How does this compare to the buddy 170i for day to day riding and longish term ownership?

Can’t verify, but looks like it’s made Taiwan in partnership with PGO Motor
