What kind of room is this
Hi Natasha, It’s called a “Spacious Ocean View Balcony”.
What Covid test did you use that they did not accept?
We used a rapid Covid test per their requirement. They did not accept it because “it had hand written information” on it. The person who did our test checked the box off negative and signed at the bottom of the test. The Cruise terminal wanted an all electronically typed document.
Ah, Gotcha. Where did you get it done if you don’t mind me asking?
At a local urgent care clinic
@@herroyaltysarah ok, thank you
@@herroyaltysarah Yep. None of the cruise lines take a hand written test. All 100% must be typed up except the signature. Now, if you had not gone back home you could have had more time to call the testing place to see if they had a digital or QR code of the covid test typed up (many places use My Chart). If not, then ask for a typed up covid test advising the cruise lines wont take the one you were given, then if they refuse...do the test at the pier. My daughter had to do two tests for our May cruise. She went to the local dept of health to test. Her results were digital, but it only said she took a rapid test. The results must state what type of test it is...antigen or PCR/NAAT. They would not add the type of test she took, so she had to go somewhere else to get tested again.
