When I was 15, soon to be 16, I lied to my parents about where I was. They were going to buy me my dream car at the time, but I lost that privilege of owning that car and my parents' trust. There was no screaming, just visible disappointment, and it broke my heart when my dad told me I lost his trust. After that, I did everything I could to earn their trust back and did. Never did it again. We need to understand that the way someone is raised is likely how they'll be in society, and then they'll be society's problem. You may not want to correct them when they're young, but life will when they're older and I don't think we want that.
Well said, your Dad said sounds like my Dad.. I did the same thing lied about my whereabouts and my dad was like I don’t believe nothing you say, I don’t trust you I was so hurt and let’s just say I’m 49 and I’m trusted by many. I can't question parenting, but it's possible mom is overcompensating. Daughter has the expectation as if she was promised something. I could understand mom recording the surprise, but posting makes me wonder her intent especially when the gift was rejected. Let's say the daughter accepts the car, why put her life in jeopardy posting an expensive car. IDK I expect a teen to be bratty, but mom isn't thinking thoroughly.
@@janedough6410 shut up the kid should be grateful that her mother even bought her something for her birthday 🎂 had it been my kid she would’ve gotten nothing. If she wants a damn pink Mercedes Benz she better get a job when she turns 18 and work towards one. The people who get a custom made cars are singers/rappers she’s not a singer or a rapper just a stupid ungrateful ass kid.
My mom surprised me with a 99' Toyota camry in my sophomore year of college. But she said I was gonna work to pay back the loan along with the insurance every month. I was still happy as hell and more grateful then this brat that just got a brand new car handed to her. I could've never even thought to be this damn ungrateful!
The fact that her parent continued recording this embarrassing moment for both her and the daughter is beyond me. I'm quite sure it's going to go viral and get the attention that they didn't expect.
My first thought exactly. I am aware that people will do anything for "likes" and IG fame and that is what scares me about the future generation is willing to succumb to. God Bless.
This does not apply to all kids of this generation. I've seen so many who are actually full of compassion and gratitude. This person is a reflection of parent's error in raising her to be a spoiled rotten brat.
I got a Toyota Corolla for Christmas back in 2019 when I was 21! Couldn't have been happier because I had a dang car! I'm still thanking my parents to this day because I'm so glad I got something that gets me from point A to point B!
🤔 ...Something reliable that keeps it's value for a great trade-in amount (if/when you chose)...as long as you keep up the maintenance and aesthetic care.
When I was in high school I asked my dad if he would ever buy me a car and he said yes, when you turn 90, and it would be used one. That's when I knew I needed to get a job.
I told my parents i would be grateful for any gift they give me even if it’s not the right one because that type of attitude she has she won’t get far in life
I feel sorry for her as well as her parents. Whatever they didn't teach her, the "world" will make sure that she learns real fast! I wish them all well! I would never have posted this!
As a black Bantu South African, the more I watch you, the more I realize all black folk, we are the same... Our humor despite of different languages, it's the same. Especially older folk🤣🤣🤣🤣
The girl is ungrateful as hell but she was taught this by her parents. And the fact that someone thought this was a good thing to put on the internet tells me everything I need to know about how this girl was raised. I hate to see the kind of adult she is going to grow into if she continues on this glide path
My mother bought me a Dooney & Bourke purse for my 16th birthday in 1993 and baby-that purse was EVERYTHING then! These kids getting Teslas now!!?? WOW! What a time to be alive! Baby girl got a rude awakening coming though!
My kids bought their own used 20 year old cars with the money they earned at their job. For my 16th birthday, the only people that remembered were my grandparents and I got a Barbie beach towel and I gave them a big smile and said thank you.
There is no sweet in her 16 at all 😣 But I blame the mother, the ADULT, who bought a Tesla for a child, and is standing there explaining HERSELF to the child🙄
It is know skit maam, I seem it, the mom was so excited, she took the car back and took her to a lot to pick out another, I would not given her anything That Is Ashame.
@angeladsw mom is worse than daughter cos I wouldn't be explaining nothing to this ungrateful brat. Something is wrong with mom if she took that ungrateful child to pick out another car. Mom has some special issues going on. But this is the by-product of what she raised.
I am a Black man and This is not new behavior. Her daughter been this way and she knew her daughter was this way and the mother condones this behavior. The fact that BLACK parents can afford to spoil their children and the child is so ungrateful speaks volumes.
My son got his dad’s car which was already old. Now he’s grown, graduated from college, working, independent AND STILL DRIVING HIS HAND ME DOWN CAR! This child is gonna have it hard in the real world
The sad thing about this is the parent. She raised her this way. And what a lot of parents don't realize is if you leave this world who's going to put up with your ungrafteful and disrespectful child or children? No one. Why would video tape the way you are raising an ungrateful and disrespectful child anyway? So sad
This might not be on the parents. This girl probably feels entitled since her parents are either better off financially or equal to those of most of her peers. She wanted them to get her what she felt she should have and those parents might not have expected her to be so disrespectful about how they spent their own money.
@bonb213 No, this is definitely on the parent. This whole scene should have never happened, and it certainly shouldn't have been uploaded to the internet. I would have been too ashamed to embarrass myself and my child by uploading this for the world to see. We really didn't need this.
Big facts!!!! Lesson every person should learn if they have children or want children, make sure your child understands the word “Gratitude”. Another thing they must understand boundaries of who the parent is & who is the child.
For my 16th birthday I got a verbal happy birthday, and a you can still use your bus pass living in New York to get around! And I was grateful for being remembered from 6 other siblings 🤣🤣🤣🤣
*My kids would HAVE to have a plastic surgeon on speed dial if they EVER THOUGHT about doing something like this because I PROMITH you they will need facial reconstruction after this! SMH*

You’re right, King. When I was growing up, a car was the last thing we would get. My oldest sister gave my brother her old car and she got another. He was so thankful.
My boys were 15 months apart. In high school, my fashion son complained I bought them both Nike, could I only get him Tommy H!! See, cause you’re a good mom your daughter knew to appreciate what you’d done for her, spending your money that you didn’t have to spend. This lady failed miserably in that department with that spoiled entitled daughter of hers. Shameful.
I got a 1982 Pontiac TransAm that was the same age as me. It was already broke down in the back yard. My Dad pulled it out the hole it was in, threw a cheap paint job on it and got it halfway running and that was it. I drove it till it completely gave up and then back on the school bus I went 🤷🏾♀️.
Girl are we related??? Mine was a 1971 Camaro (same age as me), daddy got it "fixed up", painted and reupholstered. I was so grateful, even when it kept breaking down on me. Until that last time when hot water came in on my feet and I could barely turn into the gas station and hit the brakes! 🤣🤣🤣
@Elisha Divinity Weatherton Oh my goodness!! That sounds so much like my experiences! 😆 Mine had a hole in the floor and an exhaust leak so it would come up into the car (super dangerous). The windows and headlights would go up and down only when they wanted to and it wouldn't go into reverse sometimes and definitely not in the cold weather. These kids will never understand our struggles. Lol.
My mom used to cook my favorite meal for my birthday and we called it a day. I don't understand kids these days. I wish that someone would buy me a Tesla. I would give my Momma a thank you kiss and drive off the driveway with that car before she changes her mind. I had to work while going to college to buy my first car- it was a used black Ford Taurus. I paid $600.00 for that car. I was so happy as it was mine and nobody could tell me anything.
At the end she said, "give this to your mom". It's the parents fault ultimately, but the girl does have to take some accountability for her actions. Raised without boundaries. Pray we all get better 😔
I'll take everything back, and she wouldn't get nothing. Mom is worse than the daughter in trying to explain anything to this ungrateful child, but this is what she raised.
When I see stuff like this I know my 16yrs old son is truly a blessing he see how hard I work and is thankful for everything I do for him, friends and family praise me on how well I'm doing being a single parent all the time, but I tell them it's God who deserves the praise I am only his vessel,I wish his Mum was still with us to see what an intelligent, kind, thoughtful and caring young man he is turning Into, funny thing is his Mum introduced me to ShulerKing's channel, that's why I love watching your videos because it's those times I talk and laugh with her, which keeps her close to my heart everyday,PS shocked that she lived to see 16 with that attitude.
