In Toronto, this vernacular has made its way into a plethora of communities and cultures. All of which are comprised of “regular” Canadians :)

    Born and raised in Toronto lived here 50 years, and yes you hear these in T.O but most of these are jamaican slang.

      Its even morphing into Canadianisms. Wa gwan is also said like "What's gwanin?" , which is more of a mixture of both the english and patois way of saying "whats going on"
