I love that microtech still makes big knives. Seems like so many other companies have drifted away from big knives. It’s nice the have to option from someone
I absolutely luv, both, the MSI and the Amphibian, especially, when you install Skiff's into them. I like their size and feel. Myself, I am not a Little Knife Guy... :-) Often, my hands are too big for little folders. For me, I like them to have at least a 3.5" to 4" Blades. My personal favorite to SDUEDC, is the MSI. Microtech, in my opinion, is known for making Fighting Self-Defense Knives, not EDC Knives for daily cutting tasks. Great discussion. :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)

One of my top blades of 2023. Awesome looks, super ergonomic, love the recurve blade. No issues with mine on the spine whack test, this and the MSI have taken MIcrotech to the next level, and at this price point hard to beat. If you like full size blades check them out, some people have big hands👍

I have the msi only real complaint is wish it had thumb studs. I’ve had mine since June haven’t had to sharpen it just strop after use.
Great video! Personally I love the size - there’s way too many 3” blade options on the market. I love 4” but a mini Amphibian or Stitch would be great.

Cool knife. Microtech needs to get their heat treat right tho. It’s embarrassing to have 58HRC M390 on such a premium US brand.

Everyone mentioning the spine whacks. Ain't nobody whacking the back of their knives. 90% of people who buy Microtechs just throw them in a safe between social media posts. So that's such a silly argument against the knife. 😅 Great review btw! 👏

Tell me you have tiny hands without telling me you have tiny hands. Not that there is anything wrong with that. But don’t judge a knife for everyone based on that. I’m sitting here with my MSI and my hand completely encloses the entire handle even chocked up really.

Don't like thumb studs that interrupt the cutting path. The ram lock has failed in the past in the spine wack test. Just not a fan of the overall aesthetic. Looking forward to your cut test. Thanks
Not a Microtech fan, honestly. Tiny OTFs, big clunky folders, outrageous price tags.
