The tenth-generation Honda Civic (FC/FK) is a compact car (C-segment) manufactured by Honda from 2015 until 2022, replacing the ninth-generation Civic. It was first released in November 2015 in the North American market, followed by its introduction in Europe and Asia-Pacific in 2016, and in Japan in 2017.This generation marked the unification of the Civic range, as Honda ceased making a dedicated version for the European market-a strategy employed since the seventh-generation Civic-in favour of a globally marketed model.As the result, three body styles were introduced with a near-identical design which are sedan, hatchback, and coupe.
A Type R version based on the hatchback model was released as a prototype model in September 2016, and has been sold from 2017 in several markets, including North America which received the Civic Type R model for the first time.

I always get about 12kmpl in city. 20+ kmpl In outstation. So it's very economical. So I don't mind that it only drinks 95 octane.

@@KS-iu7ig Yes, it is possible. However, I can only speak from my own experience. I typically run in hilly terrains and have never achieved a fuel efficiency of 12km per liter there. On highways, I managed to achieve a maximum efficiency of 16 kilometers per liter. Since I don't use highways regularly, my daily efficiency varies between 7-9 kilometers per liter based on the route I take.
@@damien0722I'm also impressed when I did my first outstation trip in this car. I got 21.5 kmpl without even trying. Route is kurunegala to mutur and back to kurunegala. then I checked with good old fuel pump method. And it's true. I'm very impressed. Used ioc 95 octane.

If you compare the techpack version of Civic hatchback and sedan version, are there any significant differences when it comes to comfortability and other aspects? I guess performance is same in both since both are having the same engine. I use a Civic SR hatchback model, but never driven a sedan version. So just wondering 😁
Yes. Sedan is noticeably comfortable. But there is little bit less handling than hatchback due to softer suspension. Only a little bit. Not noticeable. sedan has more much more rear leg room and little bit more headroom than hatch. Also this Sedan version is more spacious than 260 premios.
Sedan has beige headliner. Hatback has black one.
And ex hatchback comes with adaptive suspension. But sedan doesn't offer that. But sedan is more softer than most softest setting in adaptive suspension of the hatchback.

Engine knocking වෙන්නේ Fuel and Air mixure එක නියමිත අනුපාතයන්ට නොතිබීම නිසා (Physical damages, Oil burnings හැර) එකට හේතු වෙන්නේත් 92 වල Sulfer percentange එක වැඩි නිසා combustion වලදී නියමිත දහනයක් සිදු නොවීම. Fuel වල sulfer වැඩි නිසා compression ratio එකක් හදාගන්න බැ ඔබ තුමාගේ බාෂවෙන් කිවොත්. ඒ විතරක් නෙමෙයි sulfer burn වෙද්දී හැදෙන carbon නිසා spark plugs ඇතුළු අනෙක් සියලු කොටස් වලට බලපෑම් සිදුවෙනවා. මේ දේවල් බලපාන්නෙත් combustion වලට. ලියනවනම් ලියන්න පුළුවන් පත්තර පිටුවක් විතර කරුමෙට එච්චර දිග රිප්ලයි දාන්න බැ 😅. එක හින්ද තමයි Turbo වලට 95 recommended කරලා එවන්නේ.
@@guycha0s380 When the bad air and fuel mixture burns, it should create a small “shock wave” in your engine. When these “shock waves” happen out of turn and more than one at a time, you hear an engine knock. The same thing happens to my 2018 CHR Turbo, Toyota technicians recommended to put 95 instead of 92 due to carbon ruined spark plugs, fuel injectors etc... after several miles, there is no good compression ratio or mixture due to carbon blocking everything.

Great review! 🤩 Is it a better decision to upgrade from a 2018 Toyota Premio to a 2019 Civic FC9? What's your opinion in terms of comfort and reliability compared to the Premio?
Yeah. Sure. This has lots of more features than premio. I mean a lot. You'll be overload with features in this. Actually premio doesn't have any features🥲.
And this is more spacious. Safety is next level compared to premios. Premio only has two airbags and A pillers are very weak. Easily get crushed in big accident.
Comfort wise, in tarmac this is more comfortable. Because this reacts with high frequency bumps very well than premio. But in gravel roads premio is better. Because it has more softer suspension. Actually 90% of driving is on the tarmac.
Power wise day and night difference between this and premio. Handling wise also the same. This is in a another league.
Maintanance wise this is little more expensive. Don't cheap out in maintanance. Use fully synthetic oil and do maintenance on time. Then you'll be good to go. No problems.
You can save money by buying this. And you can get a much better experience.
Find one with well maintained.

One of the best driving comfortability with Civic Sedan..sometimes comfortability exceeds with some of Audi, Mercedes models. I do having same Ex model, brand new imported from UK. to get the best driving performance must use Octane 95 & proper maintenance.. It does 7-8 Km per ltr. may be still my one ran 10,000 Km.
