I like your videos and have subscribed. Thanks. I agree about the importance of styles. Some tips : (1) text does not have to be selected to apply paragraph styles - just position the cursor in the paragraph. (2) keyboard shortcuts (ctrl+0 - ctrl+5) let you assign heading levels very efficiently - ctrl+1 = heading 1, etc. (Maybe these are available in newer versions of Writer than shown in the video.)
Greetings Dr. Rathore. Thank you for sharing this wonderful time saving information. I am new to your channel. This exactly what I was looking for without even knowing it. God Bless you!
I am disappointed that dramatic changes in the user interface in some version between 7.0 and 7.4 has obsoleted many of the useful tips and techniques shown. You may have to fumble around a bit to find where things have moved. I am disappointed in the LIbreOffice, team, not Dr. Rathore. He shows useful tips for accessing features, but many of the methods he shows have been obsoleted in the UI design. Such major UI changes should have been reserved for a major release, not a minor point release of the project. I would love to see the tutorials re-done to illustrate the 7.4 release, but even without a re-do, his information is clearly articulated and presented. The LibreOffice team needs to justify such major changes, since they obsoleted so many portions of the user interface and need to reassure both end users and instructors that these "more than cosmetic" changes are really necessary and provide a multi-year advance notification. I was part of the team at Sun Microsystems that originally acquired StarOffice. I am thrilled to see that it is available on Linux, Mac and Windows. but the Android version for a tablet (done by a 3rd party) is out of synch.
My error. I discovered that the "tabbed" capability was "moved" to under "View->User Interface->Tabbed" Making good use of this tutorial probably requires a Part 0 - Setting up LibreOffice Writer to match Tutorial Screens so that following the tutorial will make sense.
I hope that this note explains the differences I observed in the default LibreOffice 7.4 from what you showed on your video screen. If you could add a short (< 1 minute) prefix clip to this video, it would solve the head-scratching on why my default libreoffice looks different from what you show on your screen.
I have mentioned that in the first few seconds of the video under which you have written your observations. I try to do that at the start of all LO videos ( if not missed inadvertently). I am glad that the issue is resolved for you. Thanks for reaching out. Appreciate it.

Thanks for your observations. It will be helpful if you can point out a few such changes in the UI that has made the content out of sync ? Thanks
