- This is the 1309 unit which just did not quite have the same build quality of other B&D Professional labeled tools from days past. They cut some corners to make it more price competitive with Milwaukee, Porter-Cable and other better quality brands of the era.
Great explanation and with much detail
Enjoy your videos
Great information thank you for sharing
I had the B and D Macho spline hammer drill. It was a good tool
Also sold as the 1311 (Industrial Heavy Duty) and the DeWalt DW110.
5 amps, 0.56 hp, 0-600 rpm
Just got a 1311 brand new for 24 bux
1311 is 100% ball and needle bearing.
@@davep8334 wait really? So its not the exact same drill as pictured here but with a different label? How do you know? Appreciate any insights you can give. I bought one thats never been used complete w/ the side handle last year, but I haven't used it yet. Its too nice lol
Just checked out both drawings and you're right, the 1311 replaces all sleeve bearings with needle bearings. Thats actually really cool.
@@machineman8388 I bought mine brand new in 1990. They used to include the repair parts diagram along with the owner's manual in the box. My 1311 also has a German made fluted chuck which is an upgrade over the 1309 in the video. It's been the best 1/2 inch pistol grip drill I've ever used and it still runs great.
✌️
I cannot believe you got it for $5.00!?!?!?!?!?
If you go to a lot of garage sales and estate sales you will find deals like that all the time and even better constantly.
@@ImSrry4BeingWhite I have seen that in other states, but in California all sales want top dollar. I have seen Harbor Freight tools sold at the swap meet for 10% less than what is sold at the store. Pawn shops are even worse.
@@donho3617 oh. I live in the Midwest and everything is affordable.
@@ImSrry4BeingWhite Enjoy those prices while you can. The liberal locust, also known as former California residents, will change that for you when they move to your state..
