- Hey y'all! In today's video I show you guys how I blow out and trim my own hair. It's been 6 months since I got a trim and I needed to get rid of those dead ends fast! My hair type is 4a4b. My hair is also pretty thick which is why I found it easier to blow out my hair before I trimmed it. Like I said in the video i'm no professional so don't roast me in the comments LOL. I hope you guys enjoy this trim and blowout video!

Closed cuticles usually stay straight, I’m natural and when it gets humid and I want to rock a straight style a good serum like chi, or Ogx helps to seal the cuticle with the flat iron, also I’ve noticed if my hair is extremely dry it will soak up three humidity quick, deep condition and use silicone based leave in and the serum to lock it in
I think you did an amazing job. Great technique. You don’t always need to go to a professional, just trust in yourself and take your time. You know what your hair needs.

Great job, I just started trimming my own ends this year and I use sort-of the same method it also works the same way if you part and twist ur hair evenly on both sides and cut where ur twists are the things which are the the ends you just trimmed and my hair is the healthiest it's every been!!! You did a great job!!!
