- Firstly THANK YOOOOOOO to all my new subscribers .. secondly
I decided to play with concrete .. and now i'm hooked !
I can feel a few concrete videos coming up ! If I can do this and learn some lessons from it then you can absolutely SMASH yours! in between getting the house finished a girl has gotta take a break from the painting ..to try a few new things right?
I used quick dry cement from WILKO
two large mixing bowls from WILKO for the mould
one large mixing bowl to mix and hey presto ! Such a simple DIY but a few lessons have been learned on this my first ever concrete bowl.
I love this!!! And I love how you leave your ‘panic’ moments in, that is me literally every time I make anything!!! Hahaha. They turned out great and the ‘imperfections’ are what makes them even more unique and interesting to look at. Fantastic!

I have just stumbled across your video as I am looking to get into making little concrete bowls! I currently make resin items but I love the look of concrete & clay bowls probably because I’ve been around raw materials like concrete all my life as my dads a builder & he has worked with concrete all his life so I can hopefully get him on board to help me & he gets his cement trade price😂 I just wanna say I have never subscribed so quickly to someone on RUclips before!! I am a fellow Brit ( Geordie from Newcastle) and your personality & humour is just first class you made my day 😂 It’s 2am and I am thoroughly enjoying watching your videos giggling away, thank you 💗

For some reason, I read this as crochet bowl 😂 always wanted to make concrete stuff. I'm gonna make some crochet doilies, dump them into concrete and drape them over some large paper cups. My mum will love them as planters for her garden 😁 I hope 😂
ohhh 🤣🤣 its probably the font I used maybe it's a bit wobbly lol. ..that is such a great idea my friend literally said yesterday I could put some leaves etc in too .. and it really makes me want to continue making stuff xx

Chips and dip for a party. The bowl will make for a great conversation piece while guests are enjoying the dip.

Great work your video was the best and realistic I think you forgot to rub some cooking oil in the bowl so it can come out easily

🤣🤣 honestly I was worried it was never gonna cone out ! I could totally just do concrete all day long I just love seeing the results .. although I think this is super fine smooth ... I prefer the industrial looking stuff more

Have you seen it or subbed to her and have you made something similar? A wall craft? I'm totally trying it just loved the idea, I checked yesterday can't seem to find all I need! Use hot water from a tea kettle it will help release it from the mold

Can you grease the bowl anyway?
yeh totally could ... but I dont think plastic needs greasing .. I was just impatient. I greased the cardboard for the second batch of pots.. but I think that's why they are taking longer to dry they cant find air ! given em a good scrub so hopefully it will be ok. I wouldn't bother greasing to honest.
