I like to PvP, and PvE on ARK Ascended. Usually beating maps under an ARK challenge. Unlocking the ending cinematics is easy with no cheats needed anymore, and usually on a server, official or unofficial, I'm not fussed. Single Player is great though, certainly with a guide for any platform be it xbox, ps4, ps5, pc, it's great. Sometimes play some wild mods, and usually post patch/update. But a survival game needs some community news and that's what I do, giving you the latest on events, maps, maybe even premium mods and official usually covering all maps from Island, Scorched Earth, Aberration to Extinction, Gen 1 & Genesis Part 2. And one day. ARK 2!

Yeah! I saw that and immediately tamed one without any issues. Did not even bother to bring a light pet and it’s been a stress free stroll finding fasolas and nabbing easy drops.

The amount of reapers makes me think they are over spawning on ascended, especially when compared to the evolved map. There is 0 chance of using the obelisks once reapers start spawning. Hope this is changed, as it makes running the boss fight here a lot worse than it was on evolved, and getting resources here nearly impossible.
To me, it feels like the amount of Reapers is pretty much the same.
Use cosmos charged web, the reapers literally turn around and run, if u ever get pinned down on ur drake just shoot off the back the reapers with cosmo, they run amd u r free

This is amazing! I was literally trying to find info about the times to head out as my Yi king briefly turned into a phoenix and it freaked me out. Could you make a video about all of the aberration gear and what they do? I’ve never played aberration before and I don’t really know what half of the stuff is. I usually watch yours, axes or syntacs videos to see if I can pick up on aberration info as I’m such a newbie to this
There is one more way to do it very safely. You can build an enclosed capsule at the front of a Blimp, extend it by 3 floor tiles and extend it down by two walls. Materials don't matter, it can even be Thatch. You can then set it down, clipping resources or drops you want to pick up and take them. Because there is no line of sight to your character, nothing agros!
Thanks for this- I did my first few runs today, and I was wondering why the first one was uncontested and the second felt like the Dino version of Top Gun trying to dodge all the Anti-Yi Ling Reaper barbs

I find gliding with a glide suit and climbing picks before you get a yi ling or rock drake to be quite safe, parachutes work too. Wait till 90% night and you can go in the early hours searching for loot drops until 11.21 when the fire comes... No reapers, no nameless, dark for several hours, idiots i say! Can't you see it's still very much safe?! Just locate a drop at night and wait for the morning to bury those beasts! Well lucky looting!
How exactly does that work
@@NostaleUp I climb high and glide across the terrain, attaching to the tall Rocky towers and climb up and stay safe, managed to get to red obelisk and back home safely
If you follow Raasclark's shorts about him getting drops at the surface,all you need is very good armor,very good imprinted rock drake(High health and melee mutations)good time planning and time management and last but not least having insane amounts of guts to pull off your heist and balls of steel

If you stealth the rockdrake before jumping off to get drop it gives you a bit extra time before the reapers pop out.
well, that tip about fasolas is going to make me try and tame one of them to get rock drakes and maybe even as a replacement for megalos on rockwell
I'm not going to lie, I went to the surface last night for the 1st time and lost my rock drake😂.. I didn't have a pet.. rip nameless drake. Aye thanks for the video
At any given moment there are ~500 surface reaper on the map. You can check with the dino finder mod.

Hey Raas,do the aberrant fasola collect metal,obsidian and element instead of flint or is it the same?
Do fasolas get affected by the sun if ko'd? If so, maybe the play would be to get it to 90% knock out, and then throw it off the cliff to go underground with it. You'd get dismounted sure, but atleast its safety would be guranteed
By any chance do pyromanes protect you from the sunrays of death

Tbh, i don't think the aberrant fasola is worthy 😅 but we do have the S-mod and S-Fasola is an amazing metal farmer with weight reduction on said resource.

I don't think it's a bug, i think it's a proper feature to allow the players to tame that dude without reapers around. Otherwise it would be impossible.

It’s definitely not 2 hours. It’s like 30-40 minutes even in ASA

I have been having abysmal luck in drop numbers. I get at most 3-4 drops that spawn in, but the owner of the server gets on, he's got like 5 drops easily. Makes me wonder if there is some kind of bug regarding them. I don't know if this is a change from ASE to ASA, since I remember drops being abundant on ASE.
The day cycles did the same in ASE bud, just incase you weren't aware 😁
Now just to find the ones that drop the battery bp

Does he not know they gave Transmitter functions to Charge Nodes now? You can upload and download from them, only thing you can't do is start a Boss fight from them.

I play on Console in Single Player. I wanted to try the challenge and tame a Fasolasuchus.
But in my Single Player they dont spawn.
Also Ankys dont spawn.
Dire Bears and Baryonix spawn extremly ultra hyper super Rare like 1 to a maximum of 2 Each time I Dino kill everything.
Does anyone Else having this Problems? I already tramferd my stuff to my the island Map so its saved and tryd to do a New game - but nothing changes they dont want to spawn.

It’s the same for me until they fix it hopefully next week. I just go to where Ankys would spawn, input the console command to spawn one and then tame as intended.
There are many other spawn issues going on too. I have yet to see a Megalania in the blue zone. Piranhas sometimes appear by the 20s. Spinos and sacros went away for a while until I dino wiped. It’s madness out here.
For me pyromane is not spawning, I never seen a single pyromane on aberration

@@parthiban9843 thank you I’ll check. And me neither, I’ve seen only one pyromane. It was under the left waterfall (map) by the charging node down there.
@@parthiban9843 I forgot they existed on this map until I ran into one. The blue zone has been nicer without them imo. I also seen a herd of 25 paracers jump a yi ling today.
On the server I play on Abberation, the light pillars don't show even with medium global illuminations set, does anyone know how to fix that?
Are you on PS5? I'm having the same issue. The only successful surface drop hunts I've done have been in the northwest zone because you can find the beacons on the ground without too much difficulty because its smaller and flatter than the other surfaces. The others are impossible to find even one 😢 hope they fix this soon
Welp.. pyromanes kill alpha reapers insanely fast apparently.. ive watched someone take mateboosted trash levels that were imprinted just crush two alpha reapers in like idk four minutes.. (official pve) now my tribe is kinda forced to tame them bastards....
Problem is the surface is broken on unofficial servers, and overspawns Reapers, usually 8-10 at a time. Yet another part of Abb that is unplayable. The game is dying a swift death at this point.
