Not enough cops in the NYPD for all the trains in the system. Nobody wants to join the NYPD, they get paid like sh*t.

Many times over the years I went to events that searched bags, coolers, etc. Carried IWB and never had a problem.
going to an event is different than commuting. i guess it is random and very unlikely to get searched everyday so it wouldn't be over the top and most ppl will be ok with it. but i don't think it is doing anything. ppl with knives/guns usually keep them on themselves not in a bag. it seems pointless to me
