Woohoo... stick sighting!! lol! Though where sticks go... it does have it's own character. As you continue... watch out for faerie folk. Also, the route on the map sort of forms a silhouette of a person... sort of. Cheers and adventure on!
Just so dreamy and the music gives the feel of A Midsummer Night's Dream ... I wait at any moment little nymphs come flying from the forrest. Thank you, Nadine - Buen Camino🙋♀️
you found a walking stick! wonder if you ever thought, in any spot you have passed, one of these days i would like to settle here... i did in in plenty of spots along the Camino. Norway someday!
Thanks, nice countryside and not crowded! (What a contrast to the Caminos!) I was surprised when you said you had wet feet . We spray our boots or wax them. Never have wet feet in the rain or wet grass. Once, walking across Scotland (SUW) in the moors, the water was over the boots, and got in the top. Sounds like this has happened before- look into waterproofing your boots!
Great video Nadine! Beautiful scenery🥰 a couple questions, I assume you made reservations ahead of your trip? How many days is this trip and when did you do it? Lastly, how does it compare to the Camino Frances in terms of landscape, hills etc? Thanks Nadine❤️
I made reservations once I was on the trail, usually at least a day or two in advance. The path is 643km long (if you walk the full way from Oslo to Trondheim), so the length all depends on how long you want your distances to be! Most I think will aim for a walk of about a month, possibly longer (because there are some difficult sections!). I walked for 27 days, late June-July. And the landscape is of course different than the Camino, which you'll see in the videos! :)
Nadine, I just subscribed to your channel. This pilgrimage is very interesting and I'm enjoying following your walk. Is your distance dictated by availability of accommodation or did you choose your distances? You had a 21 miler on day 2 and an 18 the very next day, pretty high mileage, for me anyway at age 68. I've walked that distance many times on the Camino but not too many days in a row. At the accommodations did you mostly hand wash and hang dry your laundry?
A nice day to recover from day 2.
I'm really enjoying this walk. Thanks for taking me along!
Wow, it's so beautiful!
Thanks for sharing. It was cool to follow you!
So inspired.
Day 3 sounds so peaceful, especially with no other pilgrims around. Must have been a great way to really take in the surroundings.
beautiful trails❤

This looks like a beautiful day, with less midgie attacks by the looks of your face :)
Looking forward to the next day. Safe travels.

Pretty! Wish your video was longer!!
Just out of curiosity, why did you choose the eastern route out of Oslo over the western route?
A stick! Did you give it a name?
Was there any particular reason for choosing the east path over the west?
Other than come back later to do the west leg(?)
Go vegan!
Thanks for the video
