Bro. Wilson I can truly see your pain as you revealed the truth that the Organization let us down. I am also truly saddened by uncovering the answers to the questionable doctrines we all faced. @Cerebral Cortex CEH its not easy ive thrown every scrioture to my stubborn sister and she wont accept christs own words she keeps refering to org material ...ive told her that her god is the men at the top ..once indoctrinated its bery hard to pull them away because thete is fear involved ..they think they are leaving jehovah , even if you tell them about a certain scrioture they think we are apostates ..
@anonymousprofess yes true ..im still researching about wether or not they have been assigned to look after the flock ..lets face it the apostle paul was murdering christ followers and became one if the most zealous apostles so we can judge what god does , i find it strange that jehivah woukd assign someone like russel who wrote the sign of the ages book with pyramidology in it but i just havent been able to disprove there position with god ..the thing is maybe they are the ones looking after jesus belinging but if so i think they have become an evil slave that hasnt done a very good job , i think isiah chapter 28 sums up the org fairly well .

I have been in toil and struggle with my conscience and spirit for many years now. ive never thought it was right in the governing body claiming to be the spokesmen for Jesus, but at the same time I have felt this organization is the one true religion. I haven't been to a hall in over a year and ever since I left ive felt that I will perish as I'm no longer at the hall. I have been out of the organization (faded)for several years, but only recently allowed myself to truly look at all the information available that is considered “apostate” by the GB. This has been painful and freeing at the same time. I must admit that after this last video I cried thinking of how we’ve all been lied to. I feel very betrayed and hope that others will continue to wake up and see this organization for what it is.

From my reading of the scriptures I came to one conclusion. Jehovah our God, once we show a true desire to serve him he will teach us when we read the scriptures the thing relevant to us at that time. Once he draws us closer to him because of this continued true desire, we can be assured that Jesus will become our teacher from Jehovah.

I don’t know when Jesus got Satan out of heaven, I don’t think we were given a date like 1914 and 1919, anymore then 1925 or 1975,mans guesse only, I’ve never found anything in the bible where Jehovah gave us hints, I will never understand the g b worship and song 25 upsets me , how could that song be there, that’s worshipping the g b and that’s not biblical , how shameful for the g b to take that worship and the money from a poor flock , I’m not asking a question this time but thanking you for helping me to untangle what I can’t . Correct on the issue of Christ's *invisible* presence . Another good verse to go to is Acts 1 :11 where an angel tells the disciples , "You men of Galilee ! Why are you gazing to the heavens? This same Jesus you *SEE* taken out of your sight will return the same way you *SAW* Him go." See. Saw. SIGHT. How could the disciples be looking anywhere for someone who was invisible? LOVING the vids!
Misplaced trust to the point that I became embarrassed. I wonder sometimes how my mind worked 20 years ago and just accepting ordinary men’s teachings. I followed my friends and not the scripture where we are told not too trust men. For 30 years I was the only person that said I can't understand how we get to 1914 using the scriptures. Many tried to convince me how simple it was. But I would ask them to draw it out as a math formula . Then I would ask them to use the scriptures to give each number in the math formula no one could or would even try . It was obvious to me that it was simply a case of the children's book warning , the books name is ( The King is Naked , or The Kings Royal Garments) the King in the children's book was wearing Garments that only those righteous & fit to serve under Nobility could see . So as the King whent out on a parade a small child said but he is naked everyone started laughing, because they were all afraid to say they couldn't see the Kings Garments for it was believed or taught that only those righteous & or fir to serve under Nobility could see them . But when every one was saying how wonderful his Garments were a honest child burst out with ""BUT HE'S NAKED "" Everyone laughed and the King that was also tricked to believe that righteous one could see his Garments was also brought to extreme SHAME !!! This was a children's book that Mrs. Collins read to me in 1st grade at about age 6 it came to mind in so many cases in my life where I could see people pretend to understand or know things that they were obviously clueless about school general public churches, Kingdom Halls all over the place. That 1st grade education helped me wake up. Now when people ask me what Religion are you ? I proudly tell them"" My Religion is the Holy Bible God's Word. "" to the best I can personally understand it . I don't mind some one pointing out certain things or explaining certain things, but at the end of the day if I don't understand it from God's written word I don't accept it as fact . I don't allow Doctrines to be dictated to me. I'd rather say I don't know than Rick believing something that could be false .

I think Father God is more appropriate than the name Jehovah, Jehovah was created by catholic monks its not really biblical. However Father is perfectly appropriate because thats what he is to us.

However, there are three web sites that are supported by a number of ex-JW brothers and sisters. So what started as a one-man effort has blossomed into something wonderful and I have to give thanks to the Lord for that, since while keeping us going, and bringing many more hands to the task at hand, he also keeps us humble.

The March jw broadcast said not to think badly of a brother presenting a different interpretation! I know......what a joke! In reality, they soon cut off those whose interpretations differ from the FDS.
Rupunzelsawake I think it’s strange that it’s such a taboo/bordering on apostasy having opinions like Meleti/Eric and some of us here. It’s almost like we don’t believe in God anymore and stopped believeing in Christs ransom or something. When all we want to do is read the Bible as it is without forcing organizational interpretations on it. We are not advocating immorallity, theft, drugs etc. We just think that all humans are equal and that noone should elevate themselves over others like a pope, governing body or political dictators that demand unquestioning obedience. Is that such a bad crime?

And if none is found, we should abandon that teaching. Theres no need to ”wait on Jehovah” before abandoning teachings. We should wait on Jehovah and ask for biblical proof BEFORE accepting different teachings. Too bad I didn’t realize until now that I’ve accepted som teachings without proof. But well, I was 19. CORRECTING THE DATE FOR THE FALL OF JERUSALEM FROM 607 BCE OR 587 BCE TO 529 BCE:
Basically, what happened is that Darius I died at Marathon. Xerxes was extremely angry and decided to wipe out the Greeks for having killed his father. So after 10 years he amassed a huge land and sea army to attack Athens. He destroyed Athens but his navy was defeated by the Greeks in the straits of Salamis. He fled back to Persia in shame and became a laughingstock in Greece. But also an extremely hated king for having destroyed all the beautiful architecture and art at Athens. So there were always assassination attempts and a faction in Greece who wanted to war with Persia and get revenge.
When Darius died, though, Xerxes took up the throne name of "Artaxerxes." Darius I, per Ezra 6:14,15 died in his sixth year. He had begun to build at Persepolis in his 4th year while he was co-ruler with Xerxes, but could only barely finish one building, his palace, where Xerxes was depicted as his co-ruler. This forced Xerxes to finish the buildings at Persepolis, only he completed those buildings under his new name of "Artaxerxes." So if you didn't know it, it appeared there were three kings building at Persepolis instead of two. When Themistocles fled there and observed this, it inspired him to convince Xerxes he could get away with claiming he was his own son! That would cool down the politics with Greece! Great idea. It worked. Themistocles leaked a letter in Greece abdicating his loyalty to Greece and defecting to Persia. The letter was written to "Artaxerxes" the son of Xerxes. This is the first the Greeks had heard of king Artaxerxes. But there was a catch.
The Greeks knew that Xerxes had a son named Darius, so if Xerxes had recently died, why hadn't Darius took the throne? Right. So part of the conspiracy involved historically killing off BOTH Xerxes and Darius! Greeks love tragedy. So the story that was leaked in Greece was that Xerxes had an affair with Darius' wife, which led Darius to kill his own father. How tragic! Then his younger brother, "Artaxerxes," avenged his father's death by killing his older brother. Result: A legitimate king called "Artaxerxes" takes the throne. Of course, Xerxes and Artaxerxes were the same king! Once this scam worked and the Persians wanted their records to reflect this, they added 30 extra years to the reign of Dariuis I so that he was old enough to be the grandfather to Artaxerxes. They added even more years to make up for a separate 21-year rule for Xerxes apart from a 41-year rule for Artaxerxes. So when all was said and done, the Persians ended up adding some 82 years to their timeline. Part of this addition, though, involved stealing some years from the Neo-Babylonian kings. The Persians removed 26 years from the Neo-Babylonian kings. Thus when the timeline was laid out, Darius survives his own death at Marathon by 4 years. In addition, while the Bible indicates there is a 70-year period from year 23 of Nebuchadnezzar II, the year of the last deportation, the revised documents created during the Persian Period (i.e. Nabonidus Chronicle, Babylonian Chronicle, Cyrus Cylinder) now represent a 44-year period period from year 23 to the 1st of Cyrus. That's why the Bible and Josephus contradict the Neo-Babylonian timeline now in place by 26 years. Of course, the addition of 82 fake years pushed the 1st of Cyrus back from 455 BCE to 537 BCE. That's the long and short of it.
You can easily confirm this if you really want to. The simplest way is to try to confirm the expanded Persian Period and it will lead you to the truth. The Bible is reliable history, the current Neo-Babylonian dating is not. Once the timeline was revised and fake astronomy applied to the new dating, it apparently became a big issue to correct the timeline, so it was never corrected and as they say, "if you tell a lie enough times, it becomes the truth." So now the revised timeline is taken seriously.
Of course, this affects the 1914 doctrine of Jehovah's Witnesses. They base their 607 BCE dating for the fall of Jerusalem on 70 years of exile beginning in year 18 based on the return occurring in 537 BCE. They accept the 539 BCE as a "pivotal date" for the fall of Babylon. But this date is the revised date. When 455 BCE dates the 1st of Cyrus, 70 years earlier dates year 23 of Nebuchadnezzar II to 525 BCE and the true date for the fall of Jerusalem is 529 BCE. That means if you apply the "7 times" prophecy of 2520 years, the true date for the second coming is not 1914, but 1992.
2520 - 607 = 1913 + 1 = 1914
2520 - 529 = 1991 + 1 = 1992
Of course, when the 1290 days ends when the Jews come out of exile on November 29, 1947, the 1335 days also point to 1992 as the year of the second coming! So you have Biblical harmony for the date of the second coming in 1992 rather than 1914.
Clearly, Jehovah has hidden this from the WTS and now they are completely embarrassed as being outcast from Jehovah's favor. Their main doctrine of 1914 is totally false. As I've noted, the easiest way to date the fall of Jerusalem in 529 BCE is to use the VAT4956. The VAT4956 was apparently designed to "hide in plain sight" observations from the original timeline. When year 37 falls in 511 BCE, year 19 falls in 529 BCE. Further, the double-dating in the text confirms that 568 BCE is the spurious date for year 37 of Nebuchadnezzar II, based on the revised timeline.
I used to be amazed of this 1914 doctrine by the wt.. But when I learned it was just a myth, I just can't believe how much I was lied to!

Always enjoy your talks, Bro. Wilson. But on this subject, I would agree with you on some points, but on others not so much. But this is why we can have open, frank, and courteous Bible discussions where each individual can bring his experience in Bible study. As a publisher for over 55 years in the JW organization, an ex- Bethelite, pioneer, MS and elder for 14 years, I always tried to derive a balanced viewpoint. In retrospect of the 1914 date "assumption"; it does seem that the JW's have used "exegesis"?? in their interpretations. If I'm not using the right word, please correct me! But what I want to say is that they derive meaning out of a text in Daniel 4: 17 and 25 (Daniel's own inspired interpretation), that isn't clearly stated in the context.
Verse 17 would seem to indicate that the dream would be known to "people living", that the Most High had set up his Kingdom within the kingdom of mankind; in other words, ruling concurrently with earthly kingdoms. And the phrase, "He sets up over it even the lowliest one of mankind, " would seem to parallel Ezekiel 21: 27, Phillipians 2: 6-8. But truthfully, these were the words of recall from King Nebuchadnezzar, not Daniel, as you so rightly explained. Daniel himself actually supplies the interpretation in Dan. 4: 25! It's application was on the Babylonian King, as Daniel explained, not to a future group of people necessarily.
Personally, I don't care what exact year somebody wants to believe Christ returned in; he gave us a clear sign of events on earth that would prove he began his heavenly rule, as texts in Matt. 24: 7-14; Rev. 6: 1-8, and the apostle Paul's prophecy of the "last days" coinciding with people's attitudes and conduct listed at 2 Tim. 3: 1-5. To an observant eye, all of these signs occurring together simultaneously would cause a vigilant Christian to "keep awake, being watchful for Christ's return as executioner and judge depicted at Matt. 25: 31-46 and Rev. 19: 11-16. It would seem that AROUND 1914, these signs began to make a prominent presence in the lives of people all around the globe.
As for Daniel 12: 1-10, Verses 1 and 2 seem to me to coincide with Jesus' predictions at Matt. 24: 21, 22 regarding the "great tribulation". In my opinion, Daniel's next words in verse 2 seem to point to very LITERAL RESURRECTION, that which would follow the great tribulation and Armageddon. Does not seem to be talking about "spiritual sleep" and spiritual "waking up" , since Daniel explicitly uses the words "those asleep in the ground of dust" indicating a literal fleshly resurrection. This would coincide with Jesus' own words at John 5: 28, 29.
It appears to me that these prophecies in Daniel describe events not necessarily in the order in which they appear. It's evident from your many lectures, and the years that Christians including JW's have discovered Bible truths, that "many would rove about, and the true knowledge would become abundant; ", Dan. 12: 4) not just the possession of a few dissenters from Christendom in the middle ages, like Martin Luther, Michael Faraday, William Tyndale. Dan. 12: 3 would also seem to coincide with Jesus' predictions of the "harvest of the conclusion of the system of things" in Matt. 13: 43.
Alot of interesting corelations here, without ever "going beyond what is written" , 1 Corinthians 4: 6. Nicely analyzed, brother, and I hope I can bring some spirit of the Beroeans to your comments too!

@@vintage6346 The thing is, the old Life Everlasting book alluded to the end of 6,000 years of human existence as the appropriate time for The End (i.e. 1975). However, 1984 and 1994 were arrived at via "our years are 70 or 80" (a mere observation of the Psalmist where as God placed the limit at 120 years) were based on the 1914 doctrine. Prior they had asserted that the "Generation" would have to comprise those that were old enough to recognize what was happening during The Lord's Parousia (beginning in 1914). I seem to recall 10 years of age as being mentioned in the publications. Ergo, 1984 should have been the limit (i.e. 10 + 70).
When I was growing up (60s/70s) I would notice WT articles that did not appear to comport with scripture and I would just chock it up as "The Governing Body" or rather at that time "The Society" knows best. We would debate these things in service car groups (now an apostate disfellowshipping offense) and some would write letters to The Society for clarification. My Grandfather (a Bethelite from the 40s) went ballistic and he and my Grandmother argued when something would be published that he clearly knew was not scripturally correct. Alas, they both died faithful to the WT and awaiting promises unfulfilled.
My Great Uncle was a Russellite so with my cousin's children coming of age and getting baptized we have 6 generations in the Organization. Most of my family still clings to the Koolaid being fed to them from the ersatz Governing Body. All of which, I might add, would have been considered too young to partake of the "emblems" even in the 90s.
The final straw for me was after fading for some time my wife and I returned for about a year and they introduced the "Overlapping Generations" theory and I couldn't take it anymore. Now they just make it up as they go along and Tony Morris is absolutely over-the-top!

The New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures, which is the Bible version that Jehovah's Witnesses consider to be the best. Since the videos are directed principally toward them, it makes sense to use their version as much as possible, though at times I have to use other versions when bias in the NWT might distort the original text.

1914 is fine as long as you base the "appointed times" benchmark on the ascension of Babylon 609-539 BCE, and the temple destruction to rebuild of 586-516 BCE. 1914 and the 120 years of Genesis 6::3 gives us a 2034 event window for world government and the Christ arrival, not a "day and hour" but a prophecy marked certain year for something yet to be determined at that time. 1914 is good, even if JWs are holding a known chrono-error.

I have noticed that in recent years that the Oraganisation have some how started to build on this idea that individuals from Bible times identified as Jehovah's Witnesses as well. So to the Jehovah's Witness they are all one in the same.

Further clarification to my 1914-19 comment. I omitted to include Daniel 5v16, where the King of Babylon actually gave Daniel the power of third ruler. Also the Acts 15v14 to 17. In which Jehovah says "?.....Together with people of all the Nations, people who are called by MY name, says Jehovah". Thus positively identifying the true religeon. This is also found in the King James version. Also read Exodus 6v3.........Psalm 83v-8 and Isaiah 26v4, in KJV.!

To prove that Russell Believed Christ had returned invisibly in 1874 he had the words on his Zions Watchtower saying HERALD OF CHRIST'S PRESENCE, Meaning he was Announcing that the king Christ had returned invisibly .
In Dan 4: 16, 24 the Aramaic word for "times" is Iddan . In the Theological Wordbook of the Old Testament (2900) Iddan is defined as time (general), period, span, year, era. Two basic meanings are equally a "point" in time or a "span" of time. So we cannot say with certainty how long the "seven times" were. The NASB translates seven times more accurately as "seven periods of time". The same would also apply to Dan 7:25 with reference to "time, times and one half of a time".
At Dan 4:34 "end of the days". the Aramaic is Yom "time" which is the equivalent to the Hebrew Yowm meaning day, or period of time. So to insist that the seven times of the dream are meant to represent 360 years each does not have a secure scriptural foundation. Other uses of Iddan in Daniel:-

The Watchtower teaches that no one can be saved unless they associate with the Watchtower religion. And of course they are wrong. My question is, can I be saved if I don't associate with your new religion?
I don't have a new religion. I don't have an old religion. Religion is a snare and a racket. Religion is an arrangement by which men attempt to replace God and get people to follow their commands. What I would encourage you to do if you want to be saved is engage in true worship. God is looking for those who will worship him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:23, 24) To do that, you must turn to the Christ.

Another very good presentation. Yes, just reading Daniel 4 closely, shows that the angel GAVE the visions interpretation PERIOD! It is very clear that there was no further interpretation or *an additional* one speaking of a future time. What a Satanic trick for the so called "Governing Body" who have already made the claim that they ARE the "faithful slave" even before Jesus has come to commend anyone as being a "faithful slave". No one knows who these will be yet! Not until Jesus comes to do so. Paul wrote in Romans 8 that the creation is WAITING UNTIL the sons of God are REVEALED. This won't happen before Christ returns to reveal just who they are. Nobody knows who they are yet. So the Governing Body are extremely PRESUMPTUOUS to make the CLAIM that THEY are the "faithful slave". Are they the judge? Aren't they taking the place of Jesus by PRE judging themselves as "the faithful slave"? When the Christ comes he will be bringing those who have set themselves on high (exalted themselves) to the LOWEST position. While God says for us to NOT put our trust in men, the WT Org governing body, insist that the Jehovah's Witnesses DISOBEY GOD'S WARNING concerning putting our trust in men. These men are misleading all the JWs in a huge way. How? By getting them to accept the LIE that Jesus is not their Mediator and by accepting the LIE that the new covenant is not for them And in forcing JW to wickedly SHUN their own brother's and sisters to the point of tearing apart and breaking up families, causing many divorces, and suicides. These so called "faithful slave", are bringing many down with them.

@@LosBereanos Well, the passage does not specifically say that an angel had given Daniel the interpretation, yet when reading the Old Testament it is clear to see that God sends His Word to his angels to give to his men servants, the prophets. So this is why I said that an angel had given Daniel the interpretation. Daniel 1: 17-21 says: "As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.
Now at the end of the days that the king had said he should bring them in, then the prince of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar. On Many occassions Jehovah God has answered some very specific prayers in very specific ways .! If these people were that far off the mark ,why would God answer my prayers whilst

important date.The pivotal year to consider is 539 Bc. ,when Babylon was sacked by medo-Persia, a NON CONTESTED date !. Then Cyrus allowed the Jews to return to Jerusalem ,and
they arrived in 537 Bc. By trusting in the Bible ,NOT secular historians we go from 537- 607 Bc. as Jeremiah 29:10 prophetically said , "the captivity would last 70 years".
Jehovah sees the heart of a person. Who of us is good? We all are striving to understand truth and we all get things wrong, but what counts is a love of truth and a willingness to change. Look at Saul of Tarsus, a persecutor. Yet, Jesus called him out.
Actually, by trusting the Bible, the year in which the 70 years began is 609. I deal with this in my book, "Shutting the Door to the Kingdom of God: How Watch Tower Stole Salvation from Jehovah's Witnesses".
At marker 32:32 you mentioned "us as Jw's" do you still consider yourself a jw's? (mind you, this my first time viewing your channel).
May I suggest a book, 1823 The Even Tide by John Aquila Brown. He is the first person I could track to have come up with the 7 times garbage. It would be from this man that Barbour and Russel would steal from. I think his prediction was 1917. But 5 decades before C. T. Russel was even a name in anyone’s mouth.

I don't want to go into the arguments of whether there is or isn't a second fulfillment to Nebuchadnezzar's dream in
Daniel chapter 4. I just want to point something out regarding the calculation itself. To get to 1914 you need (1)
the correct starting point, and (2) an unambiguous statement as to the length of the period involved. As to the
starting point we know that there is a discrepancy of about 20 years between the date the historians have settled on
for the destruction of Jerusalem (588-587 B.C.E) and the Society's date (607 B.C.E.). That would throw the date of
1914 off. As to point #(2) the "seven times" would have to be an essential part of the second fulfillment of the
prophecy such as it was in the case of Nebuchadnezzar. I want to point out that this dream is referred to in 3
instances in the book of Daniel. The first two instances (Dan.4:10-17,25; Dan.4:28-33) refer directly to Nebuchadnezzar
and there the "seven times" are mentioned. But in the most crucial moment, when there is a transfer of power from
the "Lion"(Dan.7:4) Babylon, to the "Bear"(Dan.7:5) Medo-Persia, Nebuchadnezzar's dream is referred to again (Dan.5:11,
13,17-22,30-31) but there is no mention of the "seven times". So, how important are the "seven times", really, as a clue
for determining the time of the beginning of Jesus' reign? (Daniel 7:2-14 could possibly be seen as an enactment of
what the dream of the tree(Dan. chap.4) portrayed).

Why would this event also apply to Jesus? Yes, Jesus was cut down by death but not to humiliate him and humble him as was the case with Nebuchadnezzar. So it really can’t be an anti type
But Daniel speaks of those asleep in the dust. Not spiritually asleep.
