Great! Marc Ford practically taught me how to jam on guitar in the early-mid nineties. I learned playing crowes' tunes and his solos were always the best. Between Marc and Rich, The Beatles, Page, Clapton, SRV and Knopfler I learned how to play fairly well, fairly quickly. Very underrated songwriter in Marc Ford.
I have no ill will toward the new guy in the Black Crowes, but I'm always thinking, "I hope that solo goes well." Like...he makes it sounds hard. And MFF...he makes it sound easy and pleasantly surprises you with all of his solos. I hope MFF makes another album and/or gets back with the Crowes for a Southern Harmony tour in a year or two.

The difference between a talented, but sort of dime a dozen player like Isiah Mitchell and a true genius like Marc Ford. Just no comparison.
Loved his work with Crows. Buy Honestly could not get into his first to solo albums. This sounds like Neal Young. Nice.
