Thanks for creating and posting this. I went with Samurai on my first character and left Unsheathe/keen affinity on my original Uchigatana and put Piercing Fang / keen on my second.

There are a few that I think you've missed that pair very well with any katana. Storm Blade is downright amazing for a powerful ranged option that is very cheap. It can also hit an enemy twice, once with the weapon and again with the storm blade effect. Double Slash is also extremely cheap and effective. Repeating thrust with Keen affinity and bloodflame blade will proc bleed faster than any combination I've found (one use of the Ash of war will cause over 400 hemorrhage with minimal arcane scaling). Stormcaller can soft lock any enemies that don't have some kind of move that grants hyper armor or are not a boss and will cause massive amounts of bleed build up. Lastly I think Blood Tax fits very well onto any Katana, basically doing what repeating thrust does but also stealing a large chunk of life.

On a low lvl, a ran double uchi with Flaming strike and chilling mist.
Raw dmg is pretty good, you have bleed and frost procs, but most importantly:
Both weapons buffed with fire and ice respectively, looks cool af!

I noticed how devastating Unsheath is on the katana months ago, it's awesome! Low level put fire affinity on it and it shreds.

I think it might be the most powerful katana ash of war for pure one hit power. The only problem with it is it used your health. But yes its one of the best.

Im really loving dual wielding it with the nagakiba. I placed the blood tax on the nagakiba and the ash of war really combines nicely with the standard dual combo. Im gonna try putting the seppuku on the uchigatana.

Occult Is better than Bleed on most weapons that already have Bleed buildup, because it makes Arcane scale both the damage and the bleed stat, vs Blood which will almost always deal less damage than a Heavy or Keen infusion in exchange for adding Bleed, which obviously isn't as beneficial for weapons that already have Bleed innately. The only reason you'd infuse Blood on a weapon that already has Bleed would be for the 100 bonus damage you'll deal with Bloodloss (I forget the exact percentage, but Bloodloss does X% of health+100, or +200 if the weapon already had Bleed and you infused it with Blood) which is only a small portion of your total damage because of majority of it will come from the weapon itself.
Also, Bloody Slash scales with Arcane, which makes Blood infusions bad because they have lower Arcane scaling values than Occult does.

@@LordSerion Cold is good on weapons with innate Bleed for building up multiple status effects, but are otherwise not very noteworthy in comparison to other cold weapons. Generally, Cold is better on Dex-leaning weapons because it's a Dex/Int scaling infusion, so yes it's good on the Uchigatana, although I would recommend going an split Int + Dex Build if you are going to do that.
If you only care about Bleed and actually want to deal respectable amounts of damage with your weapon, Occult on a weapon that already has Bleed is your best option. Cold will have way less bleed buildup and deal less damage overall because of the low scaling values and dealing split damage that has to go through defenses twice, which is _partially_ made up by the Frostbite status effect, but I generally don't really prefer it.
If you want to Power Stance Katanas, my recommendation is an Occult Nagakiba and Occult Uchigatana, which would be replaced by a second Occult Nagakiba once you reach New Game Plus. If you want to be quirky and use outside the box strategies, you could instead try out the Serpentbone Blade in place of the Uchigatana along with the Mushroom Crown and the Kindred of Rot Talisman to get a bunch of extra damage whenever you proc Poison, which scales with your Arcane already so it's not all that bad honestly.

Uchigatana has best str scale from all katanas sadly you don't make str scaling ashes i wana try but can't imagine what ash is better for strenght buid. P.S. BTW love how randomly youtube recomendation is ))

Spoiler alert plus 25 uchi with heavy infusion does more damage with strength as compared to keen at the same value of dexterity sadly dexterity just doesn’t have as high of a multiplier as strength point for point in the stat
