Step 1: dont be a dumbass and dunk your fingers in it
But what if it gets on your fingers on accident when you are fixing a broken item?

Nail polish remover first. Super glues like this are acrylates, they'll dissolve in acetone.
I think the only reason she recommended it last is that acetone can be a skin irritant and depending on how much super glue you need to remove it may be long enough exposure to cause unwanted irritation.

@@IanBPPK So is super glue, and it's continuously curing while you have it on you, so faster is better.
I have ended up with super glue and nail glue on my hands acetone takes it off easily. Wash your hands immediately with soap and water and follow up with a hand lotion and you should be just fine.
@@crystald3655 Bingo. The super glue is more of an irritant than acetone is and if you wash your hands and moisturize, there will be little to no damage.

The most effective thing I've found to remove Super glue is Teatrea oil.
I got some on my phonecase, undid every adhesive. I've super glued everything 3 times, and it's falling apart again.

I’m literally playing with super glue right now and what i usually just rip it off its like putting glue on ur hands except harder but it’s fun for me
I’ve actually tried nail polish remover and it works really well. It made my fingers smell like banana for some reason but whatever
Me as a kid when i found out about my dad's superglue stash and sneakily steals one then locks myself in my room to superglue my fingers together and quickly separates it once it dries out because i like pain hehe
Also i only do it once the leftover glue is gone since the glue coating on your finger is basically an armor against the glue it will still hurt if the newly applied glue spread on the areas with no glue but ehhh it won't hurt as much as the first one
Yeah, salt mixed in water works, but it's not fast and it's mildly effective

Nail polish remover, aka acetone, works pretty well, but really, as an idiot who always gets superglue on my fingers, unless you manage to cover your hands in it, you can just nip at it with your teeth after it dries, or really just pull gently on your fingers

Uhm.. I put superglue in between my fingers on purpose and pull them apart when its dry..
When I was younger my brothers were PRANKERS and I was like 4-5 in my moms trailer and they SUPERGLUED MY HANDS TOGETHER AND IT BURNED THEN MY HANDS WERE STUCK TOGETHER AND I WAS SCREAMING AND MY MOM HAD TO PRY MY HANDS UNDER HOT WATER
Nail polish remover or acetone is the silver bullet, it will break down the polymers of the glue turning it back into a liquid, problem is acetone adsorbs into skin and into blood and it isnt great for you.
I once got superglue in my eye. A big ol’ drop, cuz I wasn’t looking and got it mixed up with eye drops (this was back in the days when superglue was in bottles shaped similar to eye drop bottles)
Advice: If you realize what happened soon enough the trick is to blink as much out as possible FAST and open your eye right away. Wash out what you can with water until help arrives. Don’t panic. For me, it felt like someone dumped dry sand in my eyelid. Don’t look around, even with your good eye, you may scratch your eye on residual plastic. Blindfold yourself if needed. Get to an ER fast so they can check. Don’t take any pain medicine eye drops, if you do, it will feel wonderful but you’ll stop noticing any residual plastic they may miss, and you’ll scratch your cornea like crazy when you can’t feel it.
If that happens, it’ll hurt like crazy, but sleep it off-sleep for days. Make sure all the plastic is out and sleep until your eye is better.
Thank God I made a 100% recovery. Can hardly even remember what eye it happened in.
Now put superglue and put some baking soda on it (totally doesnt act like cement)
You can use paint removers find a non toxic one though

You don’t need soapy water you just need water warm water is preferred but soapy waters. It just doesn’t do not worry polish remover so water doesn’t help water nail polish remover kerosene any of those will get your fingers unstuck even WD-40. I’ll do it.

Okay so so far in my life I superglued my fingers 3 times and what I did was just ( yes ik thats dumb ) keep washing my hands with dish soap and just slowly scratching the glue and it worked everytime lol it takes a while but it works :P
I once accidentlayu spilt a whole large bottle of super glue on my hand. It took a week of just about scrubbing my skin raw to get it all off. That shit dries fast. Also if your touching it.. letting you know that it heats up quick when drying.

Personally I found that nail polish remover with acetone works really well if you have little bits of glue sticking totally your finger!! Just put it on a remover pad and rub :)
When I was little, I used to have a toy wand that had little gems over the lights. The gems kept falling off and I would watch my parents super glue them back on. After watching them enough times, I figured I could do it on my own when the next time one fell off.
I ended up super gluing my left hand's middle and ring fingers together. I could not pull them apart.
I went to my bathroom and just ran boiling hot water until the glue melted and I could finally separate my fingers. I didn't even feel the heat until the glue was off.
Let this be a lesson to parents out there, hide the super glue out of children's reach where they will never find it.

My favourite way is dish soap and comfirtably hot water. Time is the key thing, gotta let that stuff dissolve gently.

The best choice is always acetone, but if you don't have any, warm salt water is a great choice, I'm speaking from experience
Once when I was 10 I got my finger super glued together my mimi grabbed some nail polish and she just swiped it over and I was like whoa it came right off

You need no oil or chemicals to seperate your fingers bound by superglue. Just make a pinching motion until your fingernails touch, and that will break the superglue bond
First time I used some super glue at age 11 i was not expecting it to be crystal clear and without sensation. So before long all of the fingers on were stuck together, I panicked and tried to wash it off, proceding to use dish soap and cooking oil😂

Or just twist your fingers like your fingertips like you snap just try to snap your fingers and it’ll come off granted they had to peel off the glue residue and some skin but it’ll work

Actually when you just get like a dot on your finger and your finger's didn't like connect or touch you can use salt to slowly rub it off with the Chunky Salt so it's like a rock basically
