And the reason Owens Corning switched to truck was the refusal of I&O/G&W to repair the track after the latest slide that occurred in the fall of 2013.
i now that, but the train history is started in Europe.and the first elektrick train was in the Netherlands, from Haarlem to Amsterdam.i wil send you the picture from that train,he is stil riding in the train museum in Utrecht.
Chris Reynolds That would be really cool. I have never seen anything other than 4 axle locomotives on that line but since they are going to rebuild it, anything could be possible. I have videos of trains on the line that I have not posted.
Chris Reynolds That would be my guess. I have been looking for my videos of this line running in the snow and I have not found them yet. There is a house in Cedar Grove Ind. that is only 9 feet from the rails! That part is closed for good but I have a video of a train going by it through the snow. Somewhere.
A little over a third of the line reopened . They replaced the rail to the elevator and now the trains are running to it. Thanks for watching. Did you see the video I made of the CCET reopening part of an old N&W branch in Ohio?
Jaw Tooth I think I did see that, but think I may watch it again. I work midnight and sometimes I cannot remember what I watched. I have some news that I feel excited about. Via our passengers service has put a plan forward for a new rout costing 5.3 billion and their be using old rail lines that not has rail for a while. I am hopeful this will happen because some this lines r hasn't had any rail for years. So just like this line ,I am hopeful this will happen
Glad to see the rail saved
Yea, we don't need anymore railroads converted to bike paths, lol
we finally got one saved. Almost half of this line got reopened for that new customer

Chris Reynolds

Nice!!
Captain Justice Thanks!
No prob!
If they improve the line will the other customer come back.
They would come back if the railroad paid for repairs. Nobody wants to pay for it though
Is there a time line for when the 9 miles of the line will be up and running again.
Hey, Jawtooth could you tell me if this line opened up or r they fixing it first.?
