BTW...the words derive from Latin. "Corpus" - means body. "Callosum" - means "call + o + sum". So, translating, we have "Call", or communication; "o" is a contraction for "of or that"; and "sum" is a contraction for "join" or "added". In total we have "a body that joins or adds two parts together".

Our Education System needs help. I wish High Schools would teach this along with nutrition.

It is taught like this in medical schools , cause they are the ones who really need this . High school students dont need to see this cause not all of them become doctors

@mkpinganYT Just bc a high school student isn't pursuing a career as a future doctor doesn't mean that a basic overview of the workings of the human body and its anatomy wouldn't be beneficial to them- it is still a form of basic education. My H.S taught basic anatomy and instilled a lifelong interest in the subject- for me at least!😂 . Furthermore, The more people know about how their own body works, the more proactive they are regarding their health. Facts.😊

My husband has had a stroke in the corpus coliseum. This is fascinating to see exactly where that is. He has had 2 pontine strokes also, my understanding is that is directly above the brain stem?
