Good eye! This air layer did not take. I believe the problem was setting it up before the branch leafed out. I had planned to delete this video after I replaced it with successful air layers. Thanks for the reminder!
@@ryanscottlove thanks for letting me know! I was contemplating trying this now while my mulberries are still dormant, but I think I'd better direct my energy to doing a few air layers on fresh growth in July
@@felixwinkelaar6759 Sounds like a plan! I just set up a couple air layers on a Kokuso and an Illinois Everbearing that have leafed out but aren't in "full swing." Seeing how far I can push it and still get a successful propagation.
