First time seeing double flats a ppp in concert band music. It also seems it bit easier than grade 3. grade 2.5 I'd say. but this made me feel nostalgic, so this is a good piece.
Although the rhythms are easy, the grading (I believe) comes from the intense musicality needed to sucessfully blend and play certain cords throughout the piece. I'd say it's 2.5 for rhythm, but a 3.5-4 for the musicality needed to play soft, in tune, and blend in an ensemble! (some instruments play in the outer register of their range at soft dynamics as well)
Beautiful sounds!
